G3 revisted

It was still just as deep and profound as I remember. And this time I watched it with G3 virgin and film school BA holder pal Nate. he is rather burnt out on film analysis... and very tellingly noted that G3 is just so darn cool because you can you either revel in all the film's deeper themes a and nuances or just enjoy the spectacle of a ginat flying turtle and explosians aplenty.
Anyway, Nate interperted gamera's revival of Ayana as being he joined with her and thus facilitated her recuscitation.... and man that is even more brilliant than my thoery. Nate's theory certainly makes sense given how much emphasoss is given to Gamera's breaking his link to mankind.In summary... G3 is trully the masterpiece of the genre.
