CRAYON SHIN-CHAN THE MOVIE: CRASH! RAKUGA KINGDOM AND ALMOST FOUR HEROES is the 28th feature film for the popular TV anime and manga series created by Yoshito Usui, and follows the comedic misadventures of Shinnosuke “Shin-chan” Nohara, a mischievous five-year-old who often says inappropriate things and cannot resist pretty ladies, regardless of their age. Shin-chan’s family includes his baby sister Himawari, their mother Misae who gets hysterical whenever her two kids are misbehaving in public, dad Hiroshi, an average office worker who has smelly feet, and their pet dog Shiro.
The movie was originally scheduled to open in Japan on April 24 but was delayed due to the pandemic. It was instead released on September 11 and is now being offered for international distribution by Shin-Ei Animation.
STORY
High in the sky is the Rakuga Kingdom, a floating city where all the energy comes from drawing doodles. One day, the Rakuga Kingdom loses power and begins falling to the earth. It attacks Kasukabe to secure an energy source by forcing children to doodle.
But the Princess of Rakuga Kingdom (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) disagrees with the aggression and entrusts the kingdom’s treasure — a “Miracle Crayon” that can create drawings that come to life — to the 5-year-old child, Shinnosuke Nohara (Yumiko Kobayashi)! To save his lovely hometown, Shinnosuke takes up the Miracle Crayon and creates the “Almost Four Heroes” to help him stop the Rakuga Kingdom.
Save the world, “Crayon Hero” Shinnosuke!!!
