Toei Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with info, large high-res photos and poster art for SUPER SENTAI MOVIE PARTY (スーパー戦隊ＭＯＶＩＥパーティー, Sūpā Sentai Mūbī Pātī), the first new entry in their “Super Sentai VS” film series in three years. The movie opened in Japanese cinemas this past weekend.
SUPER SENTAI MOVIE PARTY is divided into two chapters. The first is KISHIRYU SENTAI RYUSOULGER VS LUPINRANGER VS PATRANGER THE MOVIE (劇場版 騎士竜戦隊リュウソウジャーＶＳルパンレンジャーＶＳパトレンジャー, Gekijō-ban Kishiryū Ryuusoujā VS Rupanrenjā VS Patorenjā), which brings together the heroes of the two most recent Sentai television shows, LUPINRANGER VS PATRANGER (快盗戦隊ルパンレンジャー VS 警察戦隊パトレンジャー, Kaitō Sentai Rupanrenjā VS Keisatsu Sentai Patorenjā, 2018-19) and KISHIRYU SENTAI RYUSOULGER (騎士竜戦隊リュウソウジャー, Kishiryū Sentai Ryūsōjā, 2019-20). The Ryusoulgers’ latest adventure begins as Tyramigo and the other Kishiryu are captured by Ganima, one of the surviving Ganglers. The Ryusoulgers attempt to rescue their dinosaur allies, but are overwhelmed when Ganima uses the Kishiryu’s powers against them. As Bamba (Ryusoul Black) and Towa (Ryusoul Green) pursue Ganima they meet up with Keiichiro Asaka, aka Patren 1gou of the Global Special Police Organization. Kairi Yano (Lupin Red of the Lupinrangers) comes to the aid of Koh (Ryusoul Red), who was injured in the battle with Ganima. The three Super Sentai teams join forces to save the Kishiryu. Don’t miss the battles of knights, thieves and police!
The second chapter, MASHIN SENTAI KIRAMAGER EPISODE ZERO (魔進戦隊キラメイジャー エピソードＺＥＲＯ, Mashin Sentai Kirameijā Episōdo Zero), introduces the cast and characters of the next series, MASHIN SENTAI KIRAMAGER (魔進戦隊キラメイジャー, Mashin Sentai Kirameijā), which will premiere on TV Asahi this March 8th. Five young warriors are chosen to become heroes known as “Kiramental.”
The end credits for EPISODE ZERO present a musical number featuring the Kiramagers with the Precures from the anime series HUG! PRETTY CURE (HuGっと！プリキュア, HuGtto! Purikyua, 2018-19), STAR TWINKLE PRETTY CURE (スター☆トゥインクルプリキュア, Sutā☆Touinkuru Purikyua, 2019-20) and HEALIN’ GOOD PRETTY CURE (ヒーリングっど♥プリキュア, Hīrin Guddo Purikyua, 2020).
