Toei has provided information and high-res images from STAR TWINKLE PRETTY CURE THE MOVIE (映画スター☆トゥインクルプリキュア 星のうたに想いをこめて, Eiga Sutā☆Touinkuru Purikyua Hoshinōta ni Omoi o Komete), the 27th theatrical film in the PRETTY CURE series. It is the first solo film for the STAR TWINKLE PRETTY CURE (スター☆トゥインクルプリキュア, Sutā Touinkuru Purikyua) television anime series which began airing in February of 2019. At the helm is Yuta Tanaka of WITCHY PRETTY CURE! THE MOVIE: WONDROUS! CURE MOFURUN! (映画魔法つかいプリキュア！奇跡の変身！キュアモフルン！, Eiga Mahō Tsukai Purikyua! Kiseki no Henshin! Kyua Mofurun!, 2016).
Story
One day a strange creature, Uma, comes to see the Pretty Cures. Hikaru Hoshina and the other girls run themselves ragged trying to communicate with Uma until they discover they can reach her through songs. However, they are caught by surprise when a team of mysterious space hunters suddenly turns up to capture Uma. The Pretty Cures step up to protect their new friend!
