Kaiju no Kami Reviews - Garo Beast of the Demon Night (2006)

Postby Dr Kain » Thu May 31, 2018 3:14 pm

Despite Garo's outstanding season finale in early 2006, audiences craved more from the show. In December of that year, Keita Amemiya gave them what they wanted with a two part event that satiated their hunger with a new adventure featuring Kouga and Zero, along with introducing a third Makai Knight named Tsubasa. Is Beast of the Demon Night a solid follow up to the first season or should audiences have been satisfied with the grand finale they were given? Watch to find out.

My copy arrived today. I just watched part one and man did they pull out all the stops for this. Definitely felt like they were more committed to this than they were to Kiba and Red Requiem. Looking forward to part 2

To Part 2? Beast of the Demon Night is only one volume. Next up is Makai Senki, which Volume 1 just shipped out from Rightstuf.

Oh, my bad. I misread your original post, so I didn't realize you said you only watched the first episode.
