This is pretty cool:

Shinji Nishikawa, manga artist and Toho monster designer, made this lovely sketch of Lucy and Baby Godzilla!

So GiH hits it's final issue soon and then all will be quiet in Godzilla comics for at least a few months

IDW Bobby Curnow wrote:We're shooting to have something new in March, but it's in review with Toho at this time, so hard to say for certain.

Apparently, Joe Infurnari claims he is auditioning to draw a Godzilla comic for IDW.

Color me umimpressed :? Just curious, but why does he draw King Ghidorah's heads with bird-beak mouths?

I'm all for giving new artists a try (that's how we got Stokoe & Watcher), but based on some of his G-related drawings on his blog, I'm not too sure about this guy...

i like his work on The Bunker covers, but no idea how he'd do on interiors. I think this might be like Santos, where the colorist holds a lot of power over whether the panel looks good or not. If they do use Infurnari lets hope they stay away from the Saturday morning cartoon colors that have been a staple of the ongoings.

We all assumed IDW wouldn't be putting out any more Godzilla material, but it seems they're putting out an omnibus of the original 'Kingdom of Monsters' series next summer:

https://www.amazon.com/Godzilla-Kingdom ... s=godzilla

Maybe they've reached a deal to reprint the series that they've already put out?
