While I honestly don't care about any of the Millennium series films except for Final Wars, I've always wondered if anyone has seen the international cut of Godzilla 2000. It seems to be the only dub of a Godzilla film to be pretty much lost, and apparently one or two lines from this dub made it into the US trailer.

My understanding was that Toho used Sony's version for their international release, but perhaps I'm wrong?

I'm sure it's around somewhere. Anyway, all it would be is the movie given the Heisei-dub-treatment, yes? How is this appealing?

Toho did use the Sony version in a few countries (e.g., India) where it had not yet opened, but most of the world saw their cut.
