The Last Game You Beat and What are You Currently Playing

I played through the Black Cat DLC today and I'm actually kind of underwhelmed. I had it 100%ed within about four hours, which is quite disappointing since I expected so much more. I know there are three DLC chapters, but it cost the same amount as the Assassin's Creed Origins DLC and I got a good 25ish hours out of that. Perhaps one of the other two chapters is going to be a lot bigger.

The next DLC is even shorter Kain. The third DLC is a bit longer but still on the short side all and all expect to spend about 15 hours on all the DLC give or take.

I ended up starting Arkham Origins. Its not as bad as it was made out to be but its not as good as the other Arkham games. You can defiantly tell that another studio besides Rocksteady handled this game. I'm going to hopefully finish off that with in the next week then move on to Zelda Breath of the Wild and finally beat that.

That should probably take me till about May or so depends on if I decide to go 100% on it after that I'm moving on to Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Jesus, as you mentioned, The Turf was even shorter than The Heist was. The only reason it took me nearly the same amount of time to beat it was due to the Screwball Challenges, specifically one of the stealth ones that took me a good 40 minutes to beat because I just couldn't figure out the patterns. I enjoyed the game, but I'm also disappointed that there hasn't been any new gadgets and abilities to use. Of course, I don't see why anyone would want to use anything but Web Spinner since that is easily the best ability in the game (and the most efficient).

I have just completed the final Spider-Man DLC pack. It's kind of sad that I'm fully done with the game now, but it's cool. I am looking forward to seeing what they can do in the sequel, I just hope they cut down on the repetitive crimes and either have more variety or less of them in the next game. I also hope they give us access to more than just Manhattan.

I can't wait to see what they have in store for us for the sequel. I thought the first game was amazing.


I'm almost done with Batman Arkham Origins I'll probably finish that off this weekend. I also restarted Zelda Breath of the Wild and just got off the tutorial area. I'm going to do a few main missions then work on getting the Master Sword.

I ended up beating Batman AO this past week so I went into full Zelda mode. But after playing it tonight and tomorrow I've kind of lost interest in the game. I'm not sure what it is but I can't seem to get into this Zelda game like I could the others. The game is absolutely gorgeous and gameplay is excellent. I think I just with that main meat of the game wasn't going from shrine to shrine doing stupid puzzles just to get an item to level up. That and weapons break so damn easily in the game.

Got some cheap used games via a buy 2 get one free deal at GameStop.

Wolfenstein The New Order, since I felt like something similar to The Last of Us, I looked up suggestions for similar stuff.
While not quite as "sneaky" as that game, this was pretty fun.
I picked the old dude to save, not sure if I will bother trying the other guy...

Then I got the Bioshock Collection which has all 3 Bioshock games.
I think I liked the 2nd one the best, mostly cause I didn't feel like killing all my "buddies" in Big Daddies.

I took a little break from Zelda and got back into it so I'm good on that however during my break I started Devil May Cry HD which is the first time ever playing this game let alone the series. So far I like it I'm about half way done with the game so this weekend I'm going to finish this and go back into Zelda until it frustrates me again then I'll probably start DMC2.

Got Wolfenstein II and beat it pretty quickly.
It seemed shorter than the first one.
There are optional missions to kill these generals but not sure if I will bother with those.

Just finished Devil May Cry HD on the Xbox One. It was a fun game, was my first time playing it.

Now back to Zelda Breath of the Wild for a bit. I'm hopefully going to get the last few shrines I need to get the master sword then after I get that I'm going to do the memories.

Beat Breath of the Wild today. I didn't do everything I wanted to do but I plan on going back to it later and doing that stuff. I honestly thought it was an okay game. It had some mechanics I enjoyed and stuff I didn't care for. There are much better Zelda games out there than this IMHO.

Recently beat all of the Uncharted games, kinda funny that the one with the lady portage is the only one where they actually got the treasure they were looking for.

Traded in some other games and got Tomb Raider (the one they based the recent movie on), and Assassins Creed Origins.
So far pretty decent games.

I'm not sure if I will bother resubscribing to the GameStop rewards thing.

The only game on the horizon is Dragon Quest Builders 2.

I've been playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider the third game in the series Eric and so far it's pretty good. I think the second one Rise of the Tomb Raider is the better game but I'm about half way done with the story in the third so that could change. I do prefer the setting of this one but the X enhancements for the second game are much better.

After I finish Shadow of the Tomb Raider I'm going to give my PS VR some love and play the VR title Farpoint.

So... I... uh... I think I beat AC Odyssey today. I'm not really sure honestly. I did this one mission and got a pop up saying I can now do New Game+, but no credits rolled or anything to tell me the game was done. Or at least that the story was done. It didn't even go back to Layla. In fact, Layla servered no purpose at all in this game as there were only two scenes with her. Why even bother with her at all if she isn't going to bring anything to the table?

Back to the game, I don't know what to say other than I feel no pay off at all for the 158 hours I invested in this game. I'm not even sure why this was even called Assassin's Creed as outside of Layla's two segments and Alexios being shown off some events that will occur in the future, it had jackshit to do with the Assassin's Creed plot. It seems like Ubisoft just wanted to make Spartan Total War 2.0 but set it in the Assassin's Creed universe because it was the only way it would make money.

I did Platinum the main trophies, but there are 3 trophies missing from the Other Tales (or whatever they call it) section and honestly, I don't have any desire to find them. I doubt I'm even going to touch the excessive DLC because while I couldn't get enough of Origins, this game overstayed its welcome. I'm not even sure I want to touch whatever the next AC game ends up being unless its going to make the time I spent in this game relevant.

Or maybe my lackluster feelings stem from poor decision making I had in the game? I mean, both Cool, but satisfying none of that was. Well whatever.

I thought Odyssey was an amazing game but to each there own.

That being said I opted to skip the PS VR game and I went back into RDR2 since the HDR issue was fixed recently. I'm having a blast with that game when I can find time to play it. I haven't decided what to play after RDR2.

Hyped for Cadence of Hyrule, I bought Crypt of the NecroDancer for Switch for less than $5 and I can not play this game. Not because it's glitchy or some funky download error, I just have absolutely no rhythm. I can barely get past the first room. And I was saddened that means I would be not enjoying the Zelda spin-off. But then I heard that there's a . So now it's on my radar when I get my check.

Beat the story mode of Horizon Zero Dawn (complete edition), did a few side things like finding all the pigments.
Traded in that game & a few others to get Far Cry Primal & The Witcher 3.
Had enough extra to re-new my GameStop Rewards thing & put down $5 towards Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Demo is up on Switch & PS4 NOW)
Still messing around with Assassin's Creed Origin.

I can't believe you traded in Horizon, especially for something like Far Cry. Horizon is by far this gen's best new IP.

I started playing the PS4 version of GTA San Andreas yesterday. It took me a while to get used to the controls again, but I started to get the hang of it after a while. I pretty much just spent my day doing the 100 spray can tags and getting the max sex appeal trophy.

Next time I play, I'm going to do the taxi, fire truck, and ambulance missions.

Still working on RDR2. I'm in Chapter 4, not very far into it and I've mainly been going after the legendary fish. I just need 3 more to go all of which or in the south area that I'm not supposed to have access to yet. I know I can go there if I want but I'm not sure if I want to do that yet or not. I'm getting kind of bored with RDR2 and I'm half tempted to start Metro Exodus but at the same time I don't want to start a new game until I finish this.

I think my depression/anxiety might also be playing a factor into me not currently enjoying RDR2

Of course if you want, you can just keep building stuff.

I built a Godzilla head/body that looks like he's swimming into the bay near where you can travel to other islands.
I will probably get the DLC soon, which includes a Japanese themed island (so I could make a larger Godzilla & make it look like he's gonna stomp a Japanese castle)...

Almost done with Red Dead Redemption 2. I have like 8 missions left in the Epilogue then I'll be done. I would have gotten a couple more done tonight but my headset battery is dying on me and I prefer to play that game with a headset on.

After RDR2 I'm not sure what I'll play. I have Gears 5 coming out in about three weeks so maybe I'll just take a break from games until that comes out.

Spent the other night finishing up the campaign in Doom. That was cool and has me amped up for Doom Eternal. Since it's ID making the game and not Bethesda, I'm hopeful that it won't turn into the lootless looter-shooter "live service" type of game.

I just spent the last month and half playing through San Andreas on the PS4 and finished it last night. Platinumed and 100% completion. Such an incredible game.

And that is pretty much it for me and gaming for the rest of the year unless I replay RE2 again.
