Had a great birthday weekend, the only chore I had to deal with was some light yardwork... aaaand the side of my neck onto my face and shoulder is breaking out. Must've been some poison ivy in there.

Well today was an interesting day. I got to experience my first Lockout dismissal ever due to another school in my district getting shot up. That was... interesting...

Rather minor in the scheme of things but I had an eBay seller be a total @ss yesterday. He was selling something I was interested in but the opening bid price was pretty high. It’s a rare item so I’m not entirely sure of the exact market value, but I’m pretty sure he was overpriced. So I made an offer. Of course it was a low-ball offer because that’s what you do on your first offer in any negotiation. He counteroffered at an astronomical price. But it was his first counter offer so I figured maybe he was starting way high in the same way I had gone way low. So I increased my offer a little to see where we might wind up. Rather than sending back a more realistic counter offer, this douche sent an even more astronomical price than before and included a very mean spirited and vulgar message.

I screenshoted it and thought about plastering it all over the collector circles I can find in an effort to smear him for being so childish and petty. But I’ve decided being vindictive will only bring me down to his pathetic level. I did send him a message letting him know I was willing to pay a lot more than my initial offer but won’t bother giving him the chance at my money since he decided to be such a jerk. And I might report him to eBay if I can find the proper channels. I doubt it will accomplish anything but maybe he’ll get a warning to not treat buyers so crudely again.

This item was a Free giveaway at TRU in Canada & some Asian markets back in 2014. The US got a similar, but slightly different toy. I've offered sellers up to $20 for this small item they got for FREE, and they are usually jerks about it...Nope not worth it.

Out of the blue, AMC refunded my Godzilla ticket for tonight. They said they sold it to me in error, and that it was for Stubs Members only or something.

They have no responded to any of my phone calls, emails, etc to try to get some further answers and honor the sale that they made. This is totally and entirely unacceptable.

If you still have it, and the theater isn't too far away, I'd still try to go, and once your there, if the code did not scan, I'd argue that its paid for. Somehow I wouldn't think it would be sold out, even with the exclusivity...

Unless on the other hand there was an error and they overbooked the theater, and this is their way of trying to do damage control... It still sucks nonetheless, keep trying to contact them if you have free time, that IS unacceptable.

Back when 'Hostage' (with Bruce Willis) came out, some friends and I went to see it opening weekend. We were already seated along with 15 or so other people and then a few minutes after the lights should have gone down a manager came and told us the showing was an error and refunded our money. We went to a later showing, but it was still weird that they sold us the tickets, allowed us to get seats and then said nevermind

Well now....

My g/f's mom is in the hospital for having several mini heart attacks (only 30% of her heart is working) and fluids in her lungs, one of our closes friends just got told he might have cancer in his tonsiles and... well I don't have a third bad thing happening that I know about yet, but things always come in threes, so I'm expecting to be told something else happened by the end of the weekend.

Yesterday the store manager pulled me into the office and said that all of the full-time positions would be going part-time very soon.
So yeah, time to polish up the old resume, and look elsewhere...cause Fry's is going away...

So let me start off by saying about a month ago I almost lost my job at the local Wal-mart. I'm not sure what caused it but I have a good idea how any way long story short there was an investigation on me and I was suspended for two days. Thankfully I did get back pay for those two days and got what WM calls a level two coaching. Its there version of a three strikes you're out policy.

Ever since that I've been in a huge funk/depression despite not losing my job and is only being increased by the fact that its almost to the one year anniversary of me losing my grandfather. Today it came to a head when I got in a huge fight with my parents. I really wish I could just go back to feeling like myself, its been ages since I've felt like myself.

Thanks Ben I'll look into that. Today was another "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" day at work this time. I really don't want to get into details I'm just meh. I'm highly considering taking a leave of absence from work until I can get myself back together because my work is starting to suffer.

That moment you get your last paycheck for the summer and notice they only paid you $110 per day instead of $130 and they've been doing that for the last few months.

EDIT: Well in good news, after pestering my supervisor about it she finally looked into it and discovered I was right, so I'll be getting a $650 gross paycheck on July 20th as it turns out they have been paying me incorrectly ever since the middle of Jan.

Jesus, what a day it has been.

First, it was really hot today and since I was planning to record some videos, I turned on the air conditioning to cool down the apartment and learned the AC wasn't working. I finally got it fixed after an hour of playing around with various things switches and stuff in the apartment.

Then, after I finally get to recording, my camera constantly stops recording with a message saying something like "SD write speed error" or something like that. I have no idea what the hell that even means, but sometimes I could get through 5 minutes before it happened, other times it was barely a minute. I ended up having to use my camera card to record my videos with. I still have no idea if it was just a glitch or something.

Then my dinner goes wrong when I try to make it. Some of the ingredients are just not working according to the instructions and the packet of rice had no rice in it. -_-

And just a little while ago, my couch took a dump in the center. Like literally. There is a huge mob of broken springs sitting on the floor beneath the couch where the cushion used to be. I tried to fix it and got a huge slice across my middle finger from it.

WTF? Now we have to find a way to get a new couch without any funds to get one. We'll probably have to go to Rent a Center or something.

Your SD card has issues Kain you need to replace it. Basically its not writing data to the card and stuff it can write to the card is probably going to be corrupted.


As for me my car is official dead, well its still drivable but its a death trap. The whole back end is rusted away and one wrong bump it could fall off. I'm currently using my parents winter vehicle for the time being until I can find something else but with me working retail and getting Sundays off and then some other random day off it makes matters worse. Considering you can't really car shop on Sundays.

Well that sucks. Thankfully Target had a new one on sale today for $22, so I grabbed one. I'll use the old one for my camera only.

Adding to this shittastic weekend; a rock flew into our windshield today on the highway and left some cracks. -_- I give up.

Well my plan to release my review of Dogora fell through due to YouTube's copyright bullshit. I'm on my fourth edit of the review because apparently Toho doesn't like even 10 seconds of footage from a scene being used suddenly.
