I've said for years that Warner Bros./DC Comics need to do a Blue Beetle & Booster Gold movie in the mold of the buddy cop film.

I'm kind of disappointed that current DCCU is built with the present being when superheroes are first appearing (though admittedly, there's room to change that thanks to WONDER WOMAN). It would have been cool to have a JSA movie (with Gal Gadot as WW in it of course); perhaps we may get one in the future.

Cool a genuine 4th World movie!

The 1987 Masters of the Universe movie has a lot of Jack Kirby influence, so while not a complete Fourth World movie it's not too difficult to pick out the parallels.

Stupid news headlines (unfortunately that's all most people will bother to read on the subject of the JL movie). JUSTICE LEAGUE obviously did not do as well as WB wanted, but it's $650 million dollar box office is not anywhere near as terrible as the headlines lead people to believe.

With DuVerney making New Gods and now Steven Spielberg(!) doing Blackhawk we're finally seeing some real interesting DC news!

I'd much rather see Spielberg return to the Indiana Jones pulp genre with a new property instead of Indy 5.

It would be awesome if Spielberg is making a period movie using the original Quality Comics Blackhawk (instead of the story unconnected New 52 team) -- that'd bring Spielberg right back into the pulp adventure wheelhouse.

It seems DC's streaming service and the new TV shows being produced for it are a bit more exciting than the movie slate (though I am anticipating the Fourth World movie). First we hear about the gothic romance take on Swamp Thing and now *drumroll* the Doom Patrol!
