Why? Is it because you didn’t like it in the movie or because you think we’re being too nitpicky?

I actually don’t think it’s the worst humor in the film; but it’s one of the more memorable bits and is easy to point to as an example where the humor went sour for me.

China Drops 92% of The Last Jedi Screenings After Disappointing Opening

SW has never been big in China. The OT was never even released theatrically until a few years ago. A lack of performance in China, while it would be a bad sign for most films profit, obviously isn't effecting TLJ. It's already surpassed RO global box-office, and sitting at 1.23 B. Estimates show it topping out at somewhere between 1.3 and 1.4. a 30% drop off from episode VII, and average for a sequel. If we extrapolate on that, then episode XIX worst-case scenario would be around 900M. I don't think that's anything to worry about. Anything beyond that however...is anybody's guess. keep in mind this in no way has anything to do with my personal opinion of the film, just stating that China's lack of support isn't going to hurt this franchise in any way, which is rare in todays global cinematic economy.
