The Last Game You Beat and What are You Currently Playing

Just finished off Twilight Princess HD. I didn't do 100% of the game like I had wanted I still need three poe souls and nine stamps but other than that I have all the heart pieces, all the rupee bag upgrades, as well as the bomb/arrow capacity upgrades.

Not sure what I'll start next I do have three weeks until I get my Xbox One X and start Rise of the Tomb Raider. I may just play some Cuphead until that time.

Rise is definitely phenomenal.

I got to play a bit of Cuphead at a friend's house last weekend and it was pretty cool. Not worth buying a console over, but if it ever ends up coming out to the PS4 I will definitely pick it up.

I still need to play Twilight Princess HD. I bought it the week it came out, but then stuff happened.

Cuphead is an MS exclusive so I doubt it will come to PS4, maybe for the sequel unless MS buys the studio that made the game.

I decided to play Sega Bass Fishing on Xbox 360 via BC on Xbox One to tide me over for a couple of weeks until I start Rise of the Tomb Raider. If I get bored with that then I'm going to play Crazy Taxi.

Target had a demo of Mario Odyssey today so I made the mistake of trying it out. I want a Switch now.

I've recently beaten Rise of the Tomb Raider on the Xbox One X and Super Mario Odyssey's main story. Both are amazing games. I still have a lot to do in SMO so I'll go back to that at a later date.

Right now I'm working on AC: Origins on the Xbox One X which is IMHO the best Assassin's Creed game to date.

First off, I 100%ed Frozen Wilds for Horizon. That was a great addition and some of the new machines were tough.

Then I started Assassin's Creed Origins yesterday, which has kind of confused me. I feel like I'm still playing Horizon, but in Egypt, with a dude, and no machines. It's been qutie fun thus far. However, something odd happened as I was sneaking around an area to try and steal some treasure when I kid some dudes walking by and the game suddenly took me to a flashback sequence. o_O

I'm now playing Ratchet and Clank PS4 and Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS.

Speaking of AC Origins, I'm about 35 hours into it and I only have half of the map uncovered. It's a very fun game, but then, Ubisoft pretty much decided to just copy The Witcher III and slap the Assassin's Creed skins onto it. I love it, but it does feature the Ubisoft-isms. Still, getting to explore Ancient Egypt is "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" fantastic. God damn everything is so gorgeous, especially Giza. Getting to climb the pyramids was awesome, as was getting to explore their interiors. Also killed a few of the Phylank soldiers. On the other hand, in the 35 hours I have played I think there has been 5 story missions in total and the Animus user has been quite... lackluster. Why are they still even bothering at this point?

Finished off the Telltale Games Jurassic Park game ugh it was horrible gameplay wise but the story was some what enjoyable.

Also finished off Ratchet and Clank for the PS4 very awesome game in the sense that it's a remake yet not a remake at the same time.

Now I'm playing The Witcher 3 on the Xbox One X. I'm not going to finish this all at once instead I'm going to take my time with it pause and play other games too. So far so good but the controls seem a bit clunky for me I need to adjust them in the options till I find a set that works well.

I think I beat AC Origins yesterday. I say I think because I got the Platinum Trophy and I got what seemed to be an ending, but I didn't get any end credits nor a conclusion to Layla, so I'm not sure.

I really don't have much time for games anymore, but I am happy to report I finished Super Robot Wars V, of course just in time for the release of the newest game (SRW X), but I think I'm going to wait a bit for the price to come down, It's nice that these imports have English language, but they are still expensive.

Also been playing Lego Marvel 2 with my son. I'm not actually super excited about this one. The controls are way overly sensitive, and cumbersome. Instead of just indicating that a certain obstacle needs to be completed by a certain character, they make you press L3, then to open a box, then to tell you what special character you need and what button to press, instead of just indicating it onscreen like on most previous Lego games. It takes 2-3X longer to accomplish anything. Also Spider-Man's web-swing controls are awful. This is the 3rd Lego game with Spider-Man, the others had a great control systm, not sure why they messed this one up. Also the voice actors are awful. Yes I know this was developed during the strike, but they should have just waited and recorded the voices after the strike was over.

Monster Hunter World has consumed my life. They just held a fairly long and fun festival and currently put out a new hunt which benefits from playing in a group rather than soloing. Played a bit of it last night, but my internet hiccuped right as the team I was on was about to actually defeat the monster and I couldn't solo it.

I know God of War drops soon and there's other PS4 games I'd like to play but I just can't not play Monster Hunter World.

I started God of War on Thursday night well Friday morning at 12am. The game is great and gorgeous. I'm not very far into it haven't have much time to play it but so far I'm impressed with the game.

On the Xbox side of things I tried playing Friday the 13th with my friend last night but we couldn't connect to each other. Not sure if it was his network or the game was having issues or not.

Since I'm house sitting for my aunt I'm taking a break from God of War and playing Metroid: Samus Returns on the 3DS. I forgot how much I enjoy this type of game. Not very far in it I just got the high jump and beat two more metroids. I think I need three more to unlock the next area. I've only got three energy tanks, and I can hold 60 missiles.

I beat God of War today, though, it didn't feel like it was an ending since there was no actual final boss to fight at the end. The reveal of who Atreus is was pretty awesome though. Surprisingly though, despite having completed the story, I only have 42% of the trophies, what the hell? Honestly though, I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do them all as the trials in Musphihelm and Nifhelm are quite boring and/or frustrating without being fun. I will go after the last dragon and attempt to take out the remaining 4 Valkyries I have to do though once I find them. Overall, it was a good game hindered by too many half baked ideas, which ultimately knocks it down to being the weakest for the four main entires into the series. Better than the PSP games, but they have a lot to work on for the no brainer sequel they are making. I just hope they fully flesh out their ideas this time as I feel like the game was rushed to the market. I give it a 7/10.

"Beat" Dragon Quest Builders on the PS4.
I didn't do the speed run (beat chapters within a certain number of days) or beat the final boss without armor thing (these unlock stuff to build in the free build area).

In that area I kept it kinda simple and just made a kinda cool looking castle.
Some people out there get really carried away and build entire towns...

Also re-beat LEGO City Undercover on the PS4.
Still rather fun.

I played the most recent LEGO game in LEGO Incredibles, but it was rather "meh" so I didn't bother getting 100%.
The only other LEGO game I didn't do that for was LEGO Dimensions (just cause the Sonic area was a PAIN).

I just platinumed Spider-Man on PS4 the game was simply amazing and no its not short I just spent more time playing it than I do most games. All together I'd say I put about 40 hours in, can't wait for the DLC and the inevitable sequel.

Now I'm playing Wolfenstein The Old Blood on Xbox One until RDR2 comes out.
