^ Nice, I had thought it had been on BR for a while. Also, I never thought about it, but I'm not sure if critically that statement would stick, but I'll 100% agree that Mask of the Phantasm is the Batman film I enjoy the most (and yes It truly is a film). I still kick myself for not seeing it in the theater in December of 1993. I remember a friend of mine was going on opening day (which happened to be 12/25, bad timing for me as I was 17 and still was obligated to meet with family on that day...) . and I figured...I'll see it "soon"...well I kid you not, the movie was gone from theaters in my area in less than 2 weeks! I was so upset. Thankfully it was on VHS not to long after, but man, that was akin to missing Transformers: The Movie (which thankfully I did see in theaters).
With all the *classic* rereleases coming out, even animation , I would hope this would get a second chance in the theater at some point, I would really love to see it on the big screen, especially now in HD.
well I obviously got Skull Island, and will be getting Shin Godzilla next week, but I've been trying to fill some holes in my HB collection.
Warner has been doing a ton of HB re-releases as part of their "Diamond Collection", but so far no Space Ghost, and that set being OOP is currently going for between $100-$150 on the 3rd party market...no thank you. WB needs to rerelease SG soon.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
