Join NERV's Godzilla Division With Bags, Keychains. and Storage Bins
The only organization strong enough to take on all the Godzilla and Unit 01 crossover merchandise is U.N. NERV's Anti-Godzilla Division. The specialized unit has a modified logo, replacing NERV's maple leaf with the spikes from Godzilla's back.
Prospective recruits can join the battle between Unit-01 and Godzilla by purchasing a folding storage container, camo duffle bag, storage pouch, t-shirt, and keychains. The items are available for sale on Amazon Japan or the Evangeion Store.
With Hideaki Anno (the director of Neon Genesis Evangelion) helming the upcoming Godzilla Resurgence film (along with live-action Attack on Titan's Shinji Higuchi, who wrote and storyboarded several Evangelion episodes) an Evangelion × Godzilla crossover should come as no surprise. Products spawned by the original April Fool's joke include two figures, Ichiban Lottery prizes and regional hand towels.

MechaGodzilla Figure Gets Unit-02 Paint Scheme, Too
Just one month after the announcement that MechaGodzilla would get a limited edition Unit-01 paint job at Japanese 7-Elevens, Premium Bandai and the Evangelion Store announced that it too, would sell a purple MechaGodzilla model and a Unit-02 version, too.
The 30cm figure is modeled after MechaGodzilla as it appears in the 2002 Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla film. The heavily armed version has rockets on its back, The Unit-02 version is modeled after MechaGodzilla as it appears in the 2003 film Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (Godzilla × Mothra × Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS).
Each figure costs 29,160 yen (US$273) and is part of the TOHO 30cm Series. Pre-orders opened on June 2 and orders are expected to ship in November.
Products spawned by the original April Fool's joke include two more figures, Ichiban Lottery prizes, regional hand towels, and U.N. NERV Anti-Godzilla goods.

Gendo Finally Steps Up as Support Character in Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur Mobile Game
Godzilla also takes on Shinji, Kaworu, Mari, Rei & Asuka
Gendo Ikari, contender for worst anime dad, is stepping up to provide Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur players with something he never gave Shinji — support.
Square Enix's mobile game is currently collaborating with Neon Genesis Evangelion. The game added Shinji, Kaworu, Mari, Rei and Asuka as gacha characters earlier and is now adding Gendo as a "Support Fairy" on Wednesday. Gendo wouldn't be the same without his second-in-command Kōzō Fuyutsuki, who is also being added.phpBB [media]
The game collaboration is a spin-off of the ongoing Godzilla x Evangelion campaign that began two months ago with an April Fool's joke. It's since spawned merchandise and other goods as well as artwork by kaiju designer Yuji Kaida and Shinji Nishikawa.
Godzilla is also appearing in Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur as a boss. Square Enix is promoting the crossover with the hashtag "#ゴジエヴァ参戦" (#GojiEvaWar).
Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur is an expanded four-player "character command RPG" followup mobile game to Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur. The card battle role-playing game centers on the true King Arthur who pulls a sword from a stone — except there are a million people who claim the title, each with an Excalibur sword.
The original game was once available in English but Gamevil terminated all game services for North America and Europe servers on December 7, 2015.

The more I see them push this Eva nonsense, the more I'm certain the movie itself is going to blow. They/re putting all their eggs in the Anno/Eva basket, and I think it's going to blow up in their face.
Artist Takashi Murakami Illustrates 3rd Evangelion × Godzilla Crossover Image

7-Eleven begins campaign for crossover merchandise
It began with an April Fool's joke illustration by Mahiro Maeda (Gankutsuou, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, Mad Max Fury Road), but the Evangelion × Godzilla collaboration is still going strong. Yuji Kaida drew a second image for the collaboration's web page, and the images have been used as giveaway items for viewers who preordered their tickets to the upcoming Godzilla: Resurgence film.
Now the project has tapped world-renowned contemporary artist Takashi Murakami (Superflat Monogram, 6HP - Six Hearts Princess) for a third official image:
Murakami runs the art production company Kaikai Kiki, and his Kakikai and Kiki mascot characters also became balloon floats in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York City in 2010. He made his directorial debut on a live-action film in 2013 with Jellyfish Eyes (Mememe no Kurage).
In addition, the website has posted fan art by a number of other contributors:
Shinji Nishikawa
Akira Amemiya
Rockin'Jelly Bean
SHIRONAGASU WORKS
Moyoco Anno (wife of director Hideaki Anno)
Yurie Sekiya
Yurushito
Hidetaka Tenjin
7-Eleven has announced that it will be using all three official designs for special nanaco cards (Seven Eleven electronic money cards) starting on September 16. Preorders begin online on July 18 and in store fronts on July 25, and customers will also get a poster featuring whichever design they pick.
7-Eleven is also running a campaign beginning on July 2 where customers buying two types of bread can receive one of four Evangelion × Godzilla notebooks.
The collaboration has spawned merchandise such as EVA-themed Godzilla figures, Ichiban Lottery prizes, regional hand towels, and U.N. NERV Anti-Godzilla goods.

I don't remember the Hamtaro stuff being this in your face. This EVA crossover is on a whole 'nother level.
