I had preordered the Ric version of the G54 weeks ago, but at that point they hadn't announced a standard version... If I had known about the standard I'd have waited and saved money because I don't really need the base.

That G54 is gorgeous, but my wallet is already screaming for the rest of this year.

Yeah, the Ric comes close to $400 with shipping included. Standard is around $140. Is the base really an extra $150? Wow. I never even saw the sculpt until recently through the preorders.

i'd like a better shot of that G'84 jaw, not sure whats going on, but it seems a bit too thick from the two angles i've seen

Yeah, must be the retooling. They said the jaw might be hinged to open and close so it might be that.

Got my Sakai GMK Godzilla.

I've long said that the 25cm GMK is vastly superior to the 30cm counterpart, so lots see how the 25cm stacks up against the Sakai. We know the Sakai figures are smaller than the standard 30cm figures, but the heights are surprisingly close... Looking at the two next to each other i prefer the head on the 25cm sculpt, but the tail on the Sakai (despite a non-descript stand to keep the tail up and the figure balanced). Both of them blow away the 30cm sculpt.

Those are two of my favoritest figures. So glad they got a reissue. The original ric-version of Megalon has an alternative set of arms

Now I'm on the fence about buying the new 1954 train in mouth release.

I'm also still debating on Titanausorus and Kiryu Diamond release.

I skipped both last time around, and now have preorders for them. I wouldn't recommend skipping Titano if you are on the fence.

Leatherback is up for order, and costs as much as a 30cm. 18000 yen. No light up gimmick mentioned.
