And I picked up a non-Godzilla stylized vinyl figure. I kind of love the Take Pico Keronga figure so when one showed up on Vicious Fun, I jumped all over it. It makes me happy. I'd buy other variants

Bandai Creation MechaGodzilla.

The MechaGodzilla is... pretty used. But it's not broken. Its not SUPER bad, but there's a bit of scuff and scrapes. I decided to settle. I doubt I'll ever find a brand new one unless they reissue it (still hope they do), but until I find a better one for no more than $20, this'll be a fine stand-in for just $7.

I havent bought a kaiju-related figure in a while, but recently caught the collecting bug once again. So while browsing ebay, I came across something I had missed out on originally for a good price:

Bakshimum, AKA EX Bakshim. $30 mint with tag and game card. For those who dont understand the name, "Bakshimum" comes from "Bakshim" and "Maximum," implying that this is Bakshim at it's maximum power/potential.

I personally prefer Bakshim over other spellings like Vakishimu nowadays, simply because it sounds closer to how it's pronounced in the show.

It's a very badass redesign of a classic Ace monster, and I love the color palette of this guy; yellow, orange, blue and red. The blue and orange compliment each other well, but the red and yellow mixed in there gives it a feeling of explosive power, as if it's on fire. Nice detail, too. I have long since gotten over sizing issues with these bandai vinyls, but he's bigger than I thought he'd be.

Finally arrived, reissued Marusan King Ghidorah from Medicom. Big guy at 14 inches. My friend wanted me to stylize it but I said "No, no, nooo!"

Just came in today. Wish I could have gotten the bigger, JC Penny one but oh well. This one will work!



Haven't seen one of these since I was a kid. I didn't set it up entirely, leaving out the "launcher" stuff. Still looks nice and will be a good little thing to pose figures on for pictures and such.

No, you got the JC Penny version right there. It's seemingly backwards I know, but the larger playset was a general retail release (it's how I ended up with mine, either from Walmart or TRU).

I got the SHMA Godzilla 2014 at the lowest point of Amazon's sale. I need more time to go over it thoroughly - I've only handled the thing out of the box for maybe two minutes, busy week - but it definitely hasn't wowed me the way Godzilla 2000, Gigan, Destoroyah or MKG did. Sub-$40 is a reasonable price to pay in this case, not so much $60.

Just picked up an M1 Godzilla 1962 off of Ebay. Fairly confident it's not a bootleg. It's been a holy grail of mine for ages. The one I bought has some minor scuffs which I will try to fix myself or send off to someone to doctor up.
