Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #22 - Reaction Thread

They're doing a great job of keeping the climactic pace going from one issue to the next. This final arc of Rulers of Earth will probably read especially well in trade paperback form.

It's nice to finally see Gorosaurus in action and the character dynamic between Godzilla and Spacegodzilla is really interesting. Sure, the nature of how those two monsters relate to each other hasn't been established at all in the IDW-verse, either in ROE or in the previous ongoing where SpaceG first appeared, but whatever. They're Godzilla and Spacegodzilla and this comic is made for G-fans. We know how those monsters feel about each other and it's cool to see how they go about this situation in each other's presence.

This issue ends with one hell of a cliffhanger.

Things like the cliffhanger are what have me so excited. I feel like as far as newly created kaiju go the Trilopods are really effective. Their abilities and the sheer numbers make them a legitimate threat.
