Dr Kain wrote:Is there like a tiny Gypsy Danger toy available? None of my stores have ever carried anything Pacific Rim related, so I have no idea what is available. I'm looking for a nice cheap GD that is like maybe 3-4 inches so I can do a little comic and not have it cost me an arm or a leg.
There is a heroclix version (that might be a bit small for what you are looking for) but Timothy2035 summed up the rest above (which is much larger than you are looking for)

i like the improvements.. but the blue goo running down his face completely kills it for me. i would have double dipped for a non-battle damaged figure.. or at least one that didn't have blue goo splattered all over.

it has been said that they would consider doing a non battle damaged version later on.
I'd laugh so hard if they quadruple dipped on Knifehead before ever giving us Otachi

So I grabbed the only ruler/measuring tape I own and tried to measure Tresspasser's height with GD.

Probably a half inch of that measurement at the top is the head crest.

I personally feel Otochi will make it in being a figure. It seems too many people are asking for it.

I guess it depends, how tall were the Jaegers?

In the movie? Gypsy Danger was 80 meters tall. Sad to say, there are no Jaegers that are in scale with Monsterarts (yet) =(.

So NECA confirmed on their Twitter that there will be NO Jaegere in series 4. It's a bummer, but it was kind of obvious from the start there wouldn't be any.

Maybe he means series 5 or whatever series is next. So the next series of Pacific Rim figures will all be kaiju.

But yeah, Brolly, some context or information is missing from your statement.

Sorry about that guys.

What I meant to say, is that there will be NO Jaegers in series 4. NECA said it's just kaiju. Possibly only 2.

No worries man. I'm not surprised they're making just Kaiju this round, and lowering the number of figures to boot. The movie had more kaiju than Jaegers anyway, the only one that was in the movie that wasn't either not fully built (the Mark 1s in the montage) or shown destroyed that we haven't got is Romeo Blue. So unless they start doing even more battle damaged Gipsy I doubt we'll get any more Jaegers. But we still have quite a few kaiju to go; Raiju, Scunner, Otachi, Onibaba, and Slattern. And those are just the kaiju with good screen time.

NECA did say that they're interested in making another Gispy Danger with improved articulation and plasma casters. So if we get a series 5, that could be the next Jaeger.

Yeah, they're pretty large. Knifehead is like 90ish meters, and Slattern was also pretty huge. Like 140? I think even 180 meters. They don't weight a whole lot compared to other kaiju though. Like 5000 tons on average?

I'd like to see Gypsy as a Monsterarts, but being released as a Super Robot Chogokin (cause duh, it's a super robot) would make sense too.

I've read that 3-5000 tons is a more realistic weight for kaiju of those sizes. :P

I'd really like to see NECA release Onibaba next, he's so cute! I'm sure Scunner will be in there, since he has a similar body type to Trespasser and Knifehead.

yeah Onibaba would be cool. I meant to say that in the above post I made instead of Otochi. My "O"s getting crossed up there.

As since Coyote was done, they have to do the opponent kaiju to that Jaeger.

EDIT: It is stated that series 5 will have a new Gipsey Danger with lots of articulation and at 7 inches in height. It will also have the plasma guns. There was the comment that there will be other figures as well.

We're also getting an 18-inch Cherno Alpha. Possibly more 18-inch figures after him. :D

I probably won't buy the big Cherno, but I'd really like it if they did some retro shogun warrior-ish versions of these guys.

nothing really new to be seen that wasn't already shown in picture form, but this is a video of the TF event showing wave 3. It has some zooms and close-ups.

From Toho Kingdom, cast your vote as to which Pacific Rim toys you'd like to see from NECA. You can select up to 3. It maybe a fan poll. But hopefully when we show NECA the results, NECA will take it under consideration.

For what little it'd matter I voted Otachi, Raiju, and Onibaba.

Striker Eureka being listed for both a 2.0 and a reissue while Crimson Typhoon only gets listed as a reissue confuses me. So does lumping several very-different figures together in a single category competing alongside single figures.
