Wow, that was.... okay. :-\

Boring paneling, serviceable art, and a ludicrous story. Big step down from Matt's issue.

There are some standout panels of Rodan, namely the close-ups. Especially the one towards the end where (spoiler--->) he picks up his baby.

I had issues with the kid's motivation with helping his dad. Kinda seemed outa nowhere. Granted, some clunkiness in a story is to be expected when you only have one issue to tell it, and issue 1 came across that with the protagonist's sudden boost of motivation. So I guess I shouldn't hate too much, but....

I feel really unsatisfied compared to issue 1. Oh well. I hope Titanosaurus's turn is better.

Read this one. Really, it's nothing new as far as the story goes...Issue 2 is basically Godzilla vs. MGII without MG or Godzilla. The art was ok, but there was nothing in the issue that really stood out.

Well, I did like the ending. It was kind of twisted and sad all at once. But aside from that, it was all kinda "meh" to me.

Just read Legends #2. It was...interesting. The kid here is pretty effectively horrifying, though sympathetic, villain: he's really no different than a school-shooting maniac, he just happens to use Rodan instead of a gun. Really, it wasn't at all the story I expected for this issue - I'd hoped for something more Rodan-centric like in Legends #1. Ah well.

Also, why did they use the Heisei Rodan design? I'd have been much happier had they used Showa design like on the Art Adams cover.
