Tonight I ordered
Get Him to the Greek and Just Go With It both on Blu-Ray.
I got the former because it's an awesome movie and was on sale for $14.99 and got the latter because I'm a huge Adam Sandler fan. They'll be in Friday.
Correct, it was on TCM recently (I missed the airing though ;.

.
The VHS I have runs 96 Minutes, while this one runs at 100 Minutes. Hee hee, wonder what was left in.
Anyway this is an ultraviolent (for its time. Still pretty vicious. That scene with the guy getting a torch in his face still shocks me) mercenaries film from 1968. It's one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite movies ever. He lifted some of the soundtrack from the film to be used in Inglorious Basterds.
Maybe that's why it sounds familiar? Also, it's a book by Wilbur Smith. I work at a Library and so I saw it and thought it was a good read. I was surprised that it had a movie o_o. Both are very good, and both have their own unique differences. ex-Nazi mercenary officer in the movie vs downright dirty pig of a person in the book.
