Well if they put Toho's Godzilla's likeness they would have a nice lawsuit slapped on the ship as well.

I guess if there can be a band named Gojira, then it's a lot simpler to name your boat Gojira. It's not like they're making money off the name of their boat.

That it does. In fact it looks like an upgraded version of the Ady Gil. When that thing was destroyed I was thinking to myself that their operations were shut down for good. THe demise of such a cool looking boat made me sad too. But to my surprise they made and launched a new better version?

Does anyone find it ironic that they named the ship Gojira, to help out the whales, when it has been implied that Godzilla eats whales???? What next will they have a helicopter named Radon to help the dolphines?

Has there been news on a new season shooting yet? I don't pay attention to whether or not the fleet it fishing. At the end of last season they thought they might have ended whaling for good.
