I remember how paranoid fans assumed that this scene was actually going to be in Godzilla: Tokyo SOS, and Norman England "confirmed" it was true ("snapping sounds and all!"), when he was just being sarcastic! It's no surprise when stuff like that turns the fan community upside-down.
I thought the music video was actually cute! I knew it was a music video to begin with, and wouldn't have been bothered if it were in the movie.
