I don't speak Japanese, so this could have been a mix up in the subtitles, but there seems to be a curious inversion of the final statement of the film. In the first subtitled version I saw, when the guy wonders about Godzilla's actions, the hero suggests, "Maybe he knows that there a little bit of us inside of him." (referring to the 'Organizer G1' subplot) In the dubbed version, he says, "Maybe because there's a little bit of Godzilla in each of us."

The later line comes off as far to hokey, plus it's completely nonsensical with the G-1 subplot cut. Honestly, I really hated the Americanized version.

I love the Americanized version, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I just dig the film, but secondly, it was the first TRUE Godzilla film I saw in a theater. Third, this is the first dub since Biollante that I can actually stand.
