My GFW theories

I know I probably will probably get flamed for these, but I personally think that the GFW Godzilla is the Godzilla from Godzilla Raids Again, King Kong vs. Godzilla, and Godzilla vs. Mothra. And I also hypothesize that the Mu invasion happened in the GFW timeline, as well as the events of Varan, Frankenstein vs. Baragon, and Space Amoeba also occured.

I believe the reason why the Gotengo cannot use it's absolute zero cannon anymore is that after the Jinguji debacle, the Gotengo was sold to Akira Nakao's character. Due to an operator error, the Absolute Zero cannon was disabled.

Your trying way to hard to connect the showa movies to Final Wars. Especially in the case of the movie Atragon, it just doesn't fit.

Well in all fairness, Godzilla: Final Wars makes no references to past films or any events prior to what we see in the movie itself, so you could easily connect it to any films in the series if you really wanted to.

Its probably not worth trying to figure anything out though as it seems like the film was meant to be stand alone.
