New Collector - Any tips or guides?

Hi everyone

I am getting back into godzilla since my childhood and want to begin collecting original figures (with tags if they came with them). And also any of the rarest old toys. Not interested in x plus or any other newer lines.

Original marusan, popy, bullmark, Bandai. 1980s and older. Any idea where to start? I just picked up these two items:

How did I do on those two? I also saw a 1984 banda zilla with tag for $150 but the price is a bit steep I think.

I think you did great on the Gigan, its been a while since i saw a Megalon with tag, so no idea on that one

I dont know but i noticed that myself. I dont think the seller was shilling on a second account either. But the 2 bidder was
Throwing a few out there way too early. Meh whatever. Its eBay and it is what it is.

On another note what is a good offer for:

Bandai Jet Jaguar 1993, Baragon 1992 and Mothra/Minya 1989. All with near mint tags and little to no wear on the figures. Thoughts?
