Yes, alas, Bugosh is my real last name, though I detest "Josh OshKosh Bugosh" as a credited name, since my non-film writing doesn't use that. I think I may have successfully yet unintentionally guilted Elliot from using that name anymore, but it might just be because it's too damn long.

I agree that this is some of the best effects/miniature work I've seen from Lobsterdance. Not that previous work has been bad, but it's always had a "quaint" sort of look to it. Like "I appreciate that, because I like miniatures, but nobody else would like it." This looks legit.

I dunno if you would have had the budget/ability but I think it would have been so fun/funny/cool had the argument broken out and escalated much faster, leading the guy to actually start a rampage before finally being stopped by snowfall, of all things.

Still, once he really flips his lid, it picks up and everything from the punch to the face on was gold. Good job!

Sorry to hear about the miss.

Kaiju fans should def. be checking this thing out. The effects are really rather impressive, and the growth of the Lobsterdance team is in full evidence. You guys are getting there. A little more manic energy in the first half of this would have gone a long way for me.

We can have a 200 page thread about how much we hate Michael Bay's Transformers movies, but I feel like we gotta get SUPER creative with plugging our own stuff around here sometimes. It's a bit of a shame.
