I've been having the same shipping issues. I ordered a new par of shoes late night Wednesday and they didn't come in until Saturday. Also practically every major game release I've preordered recently hasn't come in on time; Gears of War 4 came in two days after it came out. Though they did make up for it by giving me the digital copy for free.

Well another year, another expensive car issue...
This time it's brakes, and $600 to fix it.
Man I wish that like everthing else (except houses/rent) the price of cars went down when they got easier to make.

Found out that the 14-year-old son of some friends of mine - a kid I've known pretty much since he was born - was beaten and robbed by some older teens on Halloween night. One of the guys hit him with a baseball bat.

He's doing okay physically, and he's a sufficiently together kid that I don't think this is going to "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" him up emotionally too badly, but, Christ, it so easily could have been much, much worse.

Well this is just "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" great. My girlfriend just got a call from her boss and was told she is fired because they are restructuring the company. Not only that, but they just fired ALL of their managers. "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" STICKERMULE!!!!!!! Not only that, but this morning her boss just approved her vacation time. What the "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!"? Why would you approve someone's vacation time hours before firing them? It makes no god damn sense and the cuntbag of a boss won't even give her a real reason as to why they were fired. She just said they were restructuring the company and then she hung up on her I HOPE SHE GETS HIT BY A BUS!!!!

Well they do run on Amazon's servers, so that is why the Amazon logo is there. They also use Dropbox, but I'm not sure what else. Either way, they make shoddy products that are over priced and the dude running the company is a Trump supporter, so yeah.

It still doesn't make sense. Like they had her set up the company's Christmas party for Dec 3rd and two weeks ago she had her performance review and there were no issues. Now she is being held hostage as she doesn't want to do anything until she gets her last paycheck from them, which is bullshit. Funny enough, the owner of the company really cares what the BBB has to say about the company, so we are going to place complaints about them to them as that will freak him out. I also know the owners personal twitter account, so I will be bombarding that soon as he is a Trump supporter.

Not ruined by any means more of an annoyance but recently I decided to go all digital for my PS4 like I did with my Xbox over the summer. Well I saw they had a flash sale going on and quickly logged on to see if Godzilla on PS4 was on sale and it wasn't found on the PSN.

Come to find out it's now discontinued even though it was up on the PSN a few days ago I held off on it because it was still $59.99 so I was waiting for a sale. Now I have to go and rebuy a copy of the disc version unless it magically pops back up on the PSN. I'm hoping its just a glitch as I didn't notice anything about it getting delisted but then again it's not even showing up on Bandai Namco's website.

Just another reason why I will never go digital. Not to mention that is a lot of trouble for a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" game.

No I never bought the game. I was waiting for it to go on sale because it was still $60 and it got discontinued or temporarily removed from the store. I'm going to give it a few weeks and see if it goes back up then I'll just pay full price for it I guess if not then I'll just get a used copy of the disc.

Man, what a day this has been. It's not really "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" persay, but wow.

First off, one of the other substitute teachers decided to eat my lunch that was in the refrigerator because reasons. I guess this isn't the first time this has happened when this sub was in the building, so they aren't letting her come back.

Secondly, one of the other teachers slipped in her kitchen on Sunday and broke her femur.

Finally, another teacher's brother's house burned down last night.

Man, what a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" week this has been.

Our car died on Wed, so we had to go out and get a new one. As such, our monthly payments have gone up by $150. Add on top that we only had two months left before the car was paid off.

On Thursday one of my Patreon supporters dropped his support, so I lost $100 in revenue.

And then a half hour ago my computer chair broke.

^Speaking of car problems...ours isn't dead. I try to maintain it regularly. But I just got a repair estimate of $3,500.00 ?? , and the car is only 10 years old, but KBB says its only worth $1500...I don't want another car payment, but I talked the guy down, only doing the most essential items now, so it will be about $2700.00...yikes.

What's sad is I've never been able to own car for as long as I would like...I've had

1. My first car -88 chevy spectrum (purchased in 1994) - lasted 2 years (then I borrowed my parents old car for about 2 years)
2. 96 Toyota Tacoma (purchased in 98), lasted until 2007, so I had that one *almost* 9 years (I had got married in this time, and my wife had a Pontiac which we traded in 2008)- This little truck was my favorite and I miss it
3. 05 Ford Freestar (purchased in 08), lasted 3 1/2 years- (Piece of CRAP).

Then we purchased our current vehicle, a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. in July 2011- The last of its kind, and a previous rental. It had higher miles than I wanted for a car only 3 years old, but it had everything we wanted, and was affordable at the time. We've paid it off, and then some. The car is 10 years old, but we've only had it for *not quite* 7. its coming up on 150K, which I know most cars don't go much beyond that...

But shoot, growing up, my parents vehicles lasted 15-20 years. I know things are different now but man...I'm thinking probably this time next year, if our car needs any more repairs (which it shouldn't)... we may just decide to lease. I'm about ready to consign myself to the fact that I'll always have a car payment (just like I'll never own a home and always have rent), but having a new car every 3 years, even if always paying monthly would be better than the headache of costly repairs. I'd just make sure my lease has full coverage so I don't have to pay anything past the car payment, registration, and insurance.

I've never had a vehicle last very long, but just due to oddball reasons:
I had a 99 Elantra make it to 2008, when I bought a new car because I wanted one, and had a job, and could afford one. The Elantra was still kickin, but it had a lot of cosmetic problems that I no longer wanted to deal with.
An '08 Cobalt. Piece of garbage. I got a call from Chevy one day begging me to trade it in because they had none on the lot and wanted them for used cars. I was glad to get rid of it.
'12 Cruze. Good car. Was a lease, probably woulda bought it, but then I got a job where I had a company car.
'15 Camry. Decent car. Company vehicle.
'18 Fusion. Good car so far. I no longer have a company car, so we'll see how this one lasts.

I also had an '08 Escape make it until just recently, which was not TOO bad because it had some HARD miles on it (it towed my entire life across the country and then some via a U-Haul and was definitely not rated for that towing capacity).

Hoping the Fusion lasts a while but the new Escape? Probably gonna get rid of that in a few years when the kids are older and I need something bigger.

^I've got a Fusion. Had it for about a year and a half now and I like it. My previous car was my first, a hand-me-down Jeep Grand Cherokee from my parents which withstood 17 years of daily use. By the last year or two something would go majorly wrong with it about every three months!
