Godzilla vs. Mothra was the first Heisei G-film where the fakeness of the miniatures really glared out at me. Yes, I understand that the detail to the miniatures were lessened due to the bumping-up of Godzilla's size to 100 meters. But, they still bothered me.
The movie was unoriginal, although still entertaining. In hindsight, compared to the Millennium Series (or should we say "Mothra Series"?), the Heisei films are rather dull to me. I am finding myself preferring the current crop of films over the Heisei films.
I find myself watching Godzilla vs. Mothra more often than Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah.
