Watched this movie again. Heh, what's interesting about it is that although it still has the same cheesy plots and nonsensical villains as the other 70s movies, it makes up for it with some genuiniely good cinematography and a slick retro "cool" factor to it, in a way that vsGigan and vsMegalon fail to on all accounts IMO. I'd say it's my third-favorite Showa movie, and the only one in which I can "get behind" the idea of a superhero G (Hmm, I want to see TOMG...when's my birthday?)
