Which Godzilla picture post Destroy All Monsters do you feel had the most polished visuals?

It would have to be Godzilla's 1st encounter with Mechagodzilla in the oil refinery while going up in flames. Simply spectacular!

I'd go with vs. MechaGodzilla as well. It's the one that stands out the most to me.

My first reaction is a no-hesitation answer of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla... but, come to think of it, there's some striking work in Godzilla vs. Hedorah.

Terror of Mechagodzilla has some moments...like Godzilla being on fire. Accidental though it may be, it's quite the shot.

The Dam sequence in G vs Megalon was fairly convincing, also Gigan's rampage before Godzilla shows up in Godzilla vs Gigan was also pretty well done.

Godzilla vs MechaGodzilal easily. Three of the six movies are nothing but lazy stock footage.

I always thought the shot of Hedorah flying through the building under construction was pretty impressive. The worker falling to his doom and the subsequent collapse of the corroded steel beams was quite well realized.

The oil refinery shot was great cinematography. Somehow the cameramen were able to fit Gigan and Ghidorah into that frame together among the flames with such nice lighting.

Still, vs. Gigan is no comparison to vs. Mechagodzilla, regardless of the reasons.

I think it's a matter of Kain placing the blame in the wrong place. TOHO was the one dolling out the budgets, production schedules, etc...not the people making the movies. You can absolutely point to Toho and say, "Boy, way to cheap out there." but I think you HAVE to give the filmmakers credit for being able to do SOMETHING with the three bucks and two months they had.
