Teachers have little say about extra stuff being added into the lesson plans. Specificaly, get in contact with those who are at the board of education, then you bring up the idea. Then you get it approved level by level till you get to the individual teacher. Let's take science class. Hedorah would be a nice anti-pollution film. You would first go to Dr. Ann Williams-Brown, coordinator of science at the board of education. Then you go to the principal/assistant principal who handles the clearing for showing films in class. Then you get to the teacher. There - you saved yourself alot of time and got alot of things cleared that most probrably the teacher would not have done. Plus you would have more controll over the showing. I want it's educational aspects exploited like hell. Not just watch a film and hope that the children get it. Explain it to them.

Doesn't really matter where that is from, I suppose, but wherever it is....

First off, I honestly don't think ANY Godzilla movie has ANY educational value whatsoever unless its related to film making.

Second off, why did this clown get banned again?

Exactly!!!!! I don't see how you could study these movies in a History class when the only thing they have effected was the Film Industry. I'm pretty sure the World Wars have effected more people than Godzilla has. Nothing against Godzilla at all, but you must understand that.

I don't particular know what one may wish to accomplish with this. I'm sure some would find it interesting, but back in my high school, one would be extremely mocked for his/her entire four years for this. I've seen it done before when a student tried getting Yu-Gi-Oh cards to be used in math classes. However, I do let people know I am a Godzilla fan and am a nerd for it as well. I even wear my shirts to school, but I never did once start preaching to a fellow student about Godzilla or beg the class instructor if we could watch a film and discuss it in class.

A combination of reasons. On their own, nothing too horrible. But added together enough was just enough.

I followed it as closely as I could (I love train wrecks) but even I can't figure out everything that went on. Apparently G2KMaster gave his login information to his blog to someone who used it to go in and destroy the place, resulting in a link to an interview with August Ragone that was posted here turning into a link to pornographic photos, and not the sort of pornographic photos you'd want to see.

At some point and for some reason his account here was deactivated. He even went as far as creating an alt account, "The Returner", in order to make fun of himself, for reasons baffling to me. At the same time he creates an angry Youtube video insisting his "enemies" such as mac and Ben Haines be banned from all boards they're members of and that Armand put him up to making the video, which he in fact did not. He removed the video (twice) as soon as he started getting negative feedback. At around this point he was officially banned here.

Now lets add this to his posting habits: all this operation Gojira stuff and his "woe is me, school sucks because I can't put Godzilla toys on my desk and I'm the greatest kaiju scholar of my generation and I'm looking forward to Kenji Sahara dying so I can write his obituary and beat Sci Fi Japan to the punch" nonsense and it's pretty each to see why the decision was made to ban him here.

His blog is back up and he posts incessantly on the accompanying forum. Check it out if you want to see him publicly announce that he wants to get a vasectomy in order to curb his sexual urges that distract him from hanging out on the computer all day searching for rare Godzilla info that others have written. Crazy.

Anyway, with him banned and unable to see this thread anyway unless someone has anything productive to add (or if anything I said needs to be corrected) this thread might as well be closed.

I got busy with work and such and missed quite a bit of this.
Oh G2kmaster, you so silly.
I honestly can't imagine having to be this guy every day, I
imagine that keeping up that level of enthusiastic idiocy is hard
to do.

Hey Legion, I thought I read on his blog that he wasn't banned, just had his account deactivated. Somewhere here posted it and I forget who (and I don't really want to check out his blog again), but because someone got into his account, the admins deactivated it and he's just neglected to contact them.

I need to check out that vasectomy quote though. That sounds priceless.

It's actually somewhat of a mix of that and what Legion wrote. Someone apparently tried to access G2K's account password which automatically deactivated his account. If he had contacted any of the mods and requested his account be reactivated it would have been, but instead he tried to sneak in with an alternate account (which was both unnecessary and a violation of board rules), act like he was a different person (as Legion stated, his new "Returner" persona made fun of G2K), and even PM'd at least one mod here making odd comments about G2K (as in, himself).

G2k had already received warnings for other matters, so this latest weird behavior was the last straw with the staff here. Giving him another outlet to vent his obsessions really wouldn't be doing him any favors.

Wife: Use to make you happy and you do the same in return. Side effects are: STDs, Children that take up your pay check which can be used for better things, divorce in which the wife takes everything from you, in laws, law siuts, ect.

Kaiju eiga is what replaced the "wife" need in me.

Wow.

Some people will never make friends, get laid, or hell... have ANY fun in their lives.

I realize he's only 15, but he lives the most unhealthy life of any 15 year old I've ever heard of... his views are f'cked up beyond belief and he's so stubborn and set in his ways, he's bound to be the Comic Book Guy times about a thousand when he grows up... actually, I take that back. At least the Comic Book Guy is funny. He says "music and sex are stupid"- What? His big problem is that he doesn't want ANYTHING to do with ANYBODY who doesn't share his interests. Honestly, MOST of my best friends that I've had since grade school don't like the same stuff as me. In fact, many people like the opposites. My main interests are most forms of heavy metal, hardcore punk, kaiju movies, and horror movies/literature and I only have a few friends who share those interests as deeply a I do, and most of them aren't among my BEST friends. Friendships and relationships (with women or otherwise) aren't about your interests... at all. I sport kind of a grungy "metal head" look, but NOBODY else I hang out with does... and damn, just because my friends don't own any Slayer or Black Sabbath t-shirts or haven't even seen a Godzilla movie doesn't mean I can't be close friends with them.

He said he wants a vasectomy so he won't have sexual urges and he can dedicate more time to kaiju... but he doesn't seem to undetstand that a vasectomy only makes you impotent, it doesn't neuter you... what an idiot.

He doesn't want kids because he can "buy better things" with the money that would go towards them? Any loving parent would say their children are worth more than anything in the world. And since WHEN IN THE BLUE F*CK does a wife give you STDs?

He must be getting these ideas from his mother's marriage to his father. Honestly, this dude seems like a REALLY sick individual that I wouldn't want anything to do with... even on a forum.

I think we've dwelt enough on this poor individual. I hope he gets the help he so obviously needs, and realizes you can like Godzilla and have a real life as well. I feel sorry for him.

I think this thread, and the kid, have run it's course.
