Legendary should give this guy the boot on the basis that he always threw temper tantrums on Twitter alone.

Speaking of GMK, it isn't overrated at all. It deserves most of the praise it gets, as it's one of the few Godzilla films that is actually good without crutches like "it's the first time so many monsters came out in one film" or "it was ambitious!" It has it's share of flaws, but it's not undeserving of it's praise unlike say DAM or RoG.

Getting back on topic of being off topic - i think GMK is somehow both the most overrated and underrated Godzilla film in the franchise. it's easy to see that playing out similarly with newer movies (G'14, Shin-G) being polarizing, but 15 years later it seems like there are still groups of people that love GMK for all the wrong reasons, and people that hate GMK for all the wrong reasons. It's all subjective, but I find both groups do a disservice to a unique film that comfortably sits in my top 10.

^Yeah, but Vogt-Roberts has spoken out against other criticisms before. He said he dreaded the inevitable Honest Trailer (well before the movie was released), and is dangerously close to being labeled as being more well-known for his reactions to criticism than his films themselves.
