In general i really liked the casting in the 2014 film. A lot of summer blockbusters tend to skew toward younger actors, but i felt like they did a good job making all the characters age appropriate (consider the Naval officers in G'14 vs a film like 'Battleship"). I think Sam Neill or Karl Urban would both be decent, but i would definitely like to see more of Hawkins and Watanabe... and as far as GoT cast members i'd say Michelle Fairley or Gwendoline Christie.. also i probably wouldn't complain if Natalie Dormer were in half the movies that come out in the next few years

More Hawkins and Watanabe for sure.

Since we have no idea what the movie will be about and what kind of characters it'll involved (other than more Hawkins and Watanabe I hope), it's hard to say who would be good work best.

But here's a list of acting some folk I'd like to see pop in a Godzilla movie.

Since they won't cast until say 2017, I am betting that the new face, will most likely be someone we presently do not know, until he or she makes a splash in a certain movie and it becomes a box-office success or brings in an Oscar nomination. It is a good bet that many of us did not know who Felicity Jones was just a year ago, and now Edwards has her pegged to star in the first "Star Wars" spin-off (not to mention, these newbies probably still come in at a cheaper price than a more established star).

I would like to see Marc Singer or Faye Grant appear in the sequel as members of Monarch.
