Hope this becomes one of the biggest movies of 2020. I'm more excited to see what phase 2 looks like if this is successful or what kaiju is so big and bad Kong and Godzilla need to work together to stop him if they go that route.

I really hope they don't go for the team-up route. Freddy didn't team up with Jason. The Predator didn't team up with any Aliens. To use what's becoming a worn-out phrase, just let them fight. We don't need to dilute the content.

I think this is probably what's going to happen. Similar to Batman Vs Superman, Godzilla and Kong will begin as enemies, have a big fight and at the end team up to fight against a greater threat. What might be really cool is if Godzilla, Kong, Rodan and Mothra all team up against King Ghidorah!

Ken Wantanabe battling stomach cancer...not good...hope he is able to recover. First for himself and his loved one's and second because he could be the glue that holds the trilogy together.

As much as I'll enjoy a rematch of Kong and Godzilla, something I think might be even cooler, something we've never seen before, is Godzilla actually going to Skull Island and encountering the creatures there. How cool would it be to see a pack of dinosaurs swarming around Godzilla?

Apparently Kong is going to be 100 feet tall in Skull Island. That's about 1/3 of Godzilla's height. Wonder how they'll handle that for their meeting - will they keep the size disparity, or find a way to level Kong off for the remaining 200 feet?

I'd like for Kong to be roughly a third of Godzilla's height in Godzilla vs. Kong: small enough to make him appear the underdog, but big enough where a fight seems reasonable between these two things.
