Should we make a new thread just for the trailer when it drops or keep it in this thread? The whole no spoiler thing makes me second guess things. It might also make it easier for people to find in a new thread?

It's undoubtedly awesome. It's way more than I could have wished for, and if you'd told me ten years ago that we'd ever see anything like this in American cinema I'd have said you were crazy. But, like so many spoiled children, I just want more.

^ Ha! I love that you admit it! I think we all probably let our inner spoiled child out sometimes, especially when it comes to fandom.

Oh, no doubt. Especially when it comes to a property that inherently appeals to all of our inner children, no matter how deeply (or shallowly, in some cases) those children may lie.

And yes, I like to think of myself as very self-aware.

Most interesting thing about the above article is that the author states there in addition to tho two existing films (G'14 & K:SI) there are still 2 more Monsterverse films in the pipe. Did I miss something here?!? What's due down the road other than GvK???

I believe the author meant the two remaining features, G:KOTM and G vs K. Of course, if the ladder does gangbusters, one can bet that Legendary and Toho will try to re-negotiate this deal.

I'm not sure exactly how "non-spoilery" some people consider "no spoilers" to be, but there's an awesome new pic of Ghidorah that was released yesterday that I'll put in spoiler tags just in case, for anyone checking this thread who might be trying to avoid seeing the monsters' new looks (the pic itself isn't actually spoilery):

the only thing that bothers me is that Aladdin hits May 24 and godzilla is may 31 that may cause problems.
