Who in the hell is swimming, presumably on their vacation, over a place where the water is many hundreds of feet deep!?

There will be a
Godzilla: King of the Monsters panel with Michael Dougherty at Tokyo Comic-Con this Saturday, December 1 at 12:20pm, which in EST will be 10:20pm this Friday evening. Toho's official Godzilla Twitter account posted along with a few including a new version of the previous Comic-Con poster and a new movie still of Godzilla that might be a screenshot from a new trailer.....

Well... to be honest he
was looking pretty
fat in the '14 film. Glad to see that he's been hitting the gym and beefing up his guns. He's gonna need all the muscle he can bring to take on
3 enemies this coming summer.

I love the Bible quote that was attached to the image: "Nothing on earth is its equal— a creature without fear. It looks down on all that are haughty; it is king over all that are proud."

^ I've often said that Kaiju are more like mythical beings than mere science fiction monsters. They are beasts from Japanese mythology that have been given a 20th century science fiction gloss. For Western adaptation it makes sense to pull Bible quotes and to call the creatures 'Titans.'
This is in direct opposition, of course, to the "we weren't creating a monster we were creating an animal" reasoning behind Godzilla 1998.

Love the re-orchestration of Godzilla's classic theme! I can't wait to hear it thundering out of the theater speakers!
Now, I see that they've revealed designs of all four kaiju via the MonsterArts figures and some concept art, as well as a Godzilla statue. (I'm on my phone right now which makes it a little bit difficult to post links and pictures, but hopefully the next poster will do so) They. Are. Amazing. I'm Amazed by how traditional everyone looks. I know there was a lot of thought beforehand that King Ghidorah would be some sort of radical redesign, but in the end he looks pretty traditional. All four harken back to their classic designs. Mothra's body is quite different, but her wings retain the classical coloration that is her most distinctive feature. Godzilla's design has been tweaked from the 2014 version two more closely look like the 1954 Godzilla! Rodan looks very much like a revamped version of his original 1950s design! They all look so great!

I'm not sure Godzilla's theme needed a choir shouting, "Go! Ji! Ra!" but I'm not exactly complaining. The orchestration sounds good and I've warmed up to the classic themes' reemergence in the Legendary franchise.
As far as the new designs are concerned, I approve. I like the tweaks they made to Godzilla--I can see this design becoming one of my favourites. Rodan looks like Rodan and Mothra looks tired of everyone's garbage. I feel most impressed with King Ghidorah at the moment. The designers found a perfect synthesis of his classic design with modern Hollywood dragons, and I can't wait to see more of him in motion.

This Godzilla design I like better than 2014. I really like Rodan. Ghidrah is fine, perhaps a little to slender. Mothra, though I don't dislike it, is the one I have to get use to the most.

The only thing that bothers me about Mothra is that she appears to be missing a pair of legs, could just be the way the figures posed...The shot of her from above looks awesome!

Hope we get the Ifukube Ghidorah and Rodan themes, too. Why include Godzilla and Mothra's music but not the others?
Like the Ghidorah design. Love Rodan. Hate Mothra's body/head.
The Godzilla design was never good, imo. His head doesn't look right, too much of a blockhead design. Make the head/face more like the Biogoji and you would have something. Glad the spikes became more traditional

That Ghidorah. Holy crap. King of the Monsters, maybe not, but king of the awesome toy designs!
I'm indifferent to the Rodan (maybe I just need more time to get used to it, plus are those feathers in the poster?), but I don't really care for the Mothra. I find the Battra-like coloring interesting, though.

SWEET JESUS those are gorgeous designs.. King Ghidorah looks breathtaking, Rodan is perfect and I love Mothra's new look. Godzilla looks even better than the 2014 version.
I have never been so excited.

I love how the texture on Rodan’s wings looks like a dried up lava flow. So cool!

Given the size and shape of Ghidorah's wings, I expect him to be wing-walking during the movie. I can definitely see a Game of Thrones influence on the design. Do we have any idea of the size of these guys?

The latest teaser stinks.
It's nothing more than Millie Bobby Brown's scene that was shown before and ridiculed. No idea why they keep shoving her poor acting at us. If that's the best this movie has to offer, it's going to be laughably bad (which the people who saw the last test screening said it was).
Hopefully, the full trailer will show something interesting.
