No I watched an over 2 hour movie in March. There is nothing that can save the non action stuff unless they reshoot it. I do think average people will be a bit more forgiving than me.



The reports you posted cant be true because I filled out a FULL score card and railed the movie a new one and so did the person I went with who also posted here. Plus there was quite a bit of reports saying the truth. All action, no character.



Plus I know for a fact the movie is on ICE right now and the director has been pushed back a tad. They are putting it on a shelf for a few months, getting a new post team and going back to it later in the year.

^ He's saying that after a disasterous test screening the studio plans extensive reshoots with another team this fall... but we know for a fact that Dougherty supervised one week of reshoots shortly after the test screenings!

Mad Max Fury Road had abysmal previs screening response and that turned out to be an oscar nominated action flick

^ Even after it came out several people told me the movie had no story, because it was all action!

My favorite 'disastrous early version then rescued' story is how George Lucas' buddies turned what was supposedly a disastrous early cut of Star Wars into the successful version we all know by cutting some unnecessary bits out, changing the order of scenes (think about how much more sense it makes for to Obi Wan describe the Jedi and the Force and Vadar's fall before the scene were we see Vadar being evil and using the Force), and using a graphic and voiceover and a few bits of footage shot for the Alderan sequence to add a ticking clock element ("Death Star in range") to the final battle.

I'm not gonna give any credibility to a claim that runs counter to every other claim about the test screenings.

Especially since I'm not giving credibility to the initial test screening claims.

Seriously, why won't more kaiju fans take that outlook? Is this fandom really so desperate for pre-release information that they'll believe anyone who claims to have a scoop? We'll all be watching the whole movie on the big screen in just 10 months!

I love the idea that somehow they had a 2+hour cut of a film presentable for previews a full year before its due to release. Maybe some highlights sure, but that much sounds ridiculous.

Nothing screams bullchit like a random poster coming out of the woodwork saying that despite the random people who claimed too have seen test footage screenings that were 30-40 minutes, he has seen 2 plus hours and of course it was terrible...
Look, I’d venture to guess if you wade through the sea of speculation you’ll either find a nugget or two of truth, a few lucky guesses and the rest should be sprinkled on your lawn.
These people thrive on creating chaos, their lives consist of sitting in their mom’s basement, wearing a stained Nickleback shirt they got at Hot Topic that is covered in Cheetos powder, Hot Pocket sauce, Mountain Dew Code Red, B.O. and failure.
Likely The only exercise and sunlight he gets is when he makes his weekly run to 7-11 and the comic book store so his mom can burn and replace his sheets as he chows down on a Cherry Double Gulp Slurpee, POP-Tarts and Slim Jim’s while reading but not buying any new comics.
His only victory in life is to tell his gamer buddies how he got people up in arms about his fake review, after having doused himself in aloeVera to sooth his scorched skin from his 10 minutes venture outside... let’s not let him have his joy, ignore this sad existence and let him finish replacing his blood supply with gravy in silence.

Wow. Those are some dangly legs. She got legs for days.

Aside from her long legs, her body seems to be more anatomically correct to a Moth. Which isn't very Mothra-ish. Mothra traditionally has the body of an ant with big wings on it. I mean, it isn't what I would fall in love with but lets see how it performs I guess. Gripes will definitely be more than just her legs. Rodan definitely seems to be stealing the show.
