When GINO was coming out I had the most fun seeing Godzilla mentioned in the media: on TV and in magazines, mostly. The funny thing was that details of GINO were kept under wraps, so in order to mention Godzilla they had to talk generally about the Godzilla series and often used photos of the classic Godzilla. It was more about our old Godzilla than this new, unknown (and now very derided) Godzilla. I was ten, so I had to pester my mother to buy me, say, the latest Disney Adventures or Nickelodeon Magazine because Godzilla was on the cover.
Anyway, websites have largely replaced magazines, and I've seen lots of Godzilla related articles. Some neat, some cute, some really stupid.
This thread isn't for articles that just serve as news for the new film. This thread is for the more general Godzilla articles and ephemera that the interest for the new film is generating.
This segment from Fox New's Red Eye should be about the whole "Japanese fans say American Godzilla is fat" thing, but it really becomes about how two of the guys (it's that guy from Who's Line is it Anyway!) are Godzilla fans:

Two days ago I saw the tail-end of an MSNBC show where the host closed by describing the plot to Godzilla '54 and talking about how pop culture can be cathartic for society dealing with real problems. I wish I could find that right now, because I'd like to follow a Fox News link with a MSNBC one!
