The fandom has become complacent and seems unwilling to fight for Godzilla. Therefore, it seems logical to me that no more major details should be leaked until Godzilla emerges victorious from that poll. If the users here are so passionate about this film, they should be spam voting Godzilla to the top. If they can beat that stupid vampire movie, then perhaps you could share another page from that glorious screenplay?

It's stupid, but sure... I'll play ball.
I hate vampires. If Godzilla beats those fruity goths into the dirt, I'll post the airport scene in full.
And I'll be on later tonight to field these questions regarding Mutos.

That post sounded angry. Did he ever post it...ya know out of sheer good nature? It's a stupid question to ask he likely didn't but I gotta make sure I didn't miss anything.

Nah I don't think he's posted it yet, I've been saving pretty much everything, and I think I would have remembered something like that.

I posted quite a bit of new stuff last night. Maybe a page back, and also in the water cooler thread

Thanks for this bit of the HALO scene. It makes me curious as to the rest, explaining why such a desperate move is being made—soldiers parachuting into the midst of a titanic monster brawl. This must be the film's climax?

Yeah I wasn't sure what "ICBM" meant so I checked on Google and it said "InterContinental Ballistic Missile" and I had heard somewhere that the reason they are doing the HALO jump is to retrieve the nuke that was in the trailer, so I guess that's the one.

^Great perception. I can only imagine the expression Godzilla had to convey the words: "I did this to you" since he can't actually talk.

There's a chance it'll end with someone standing ontop the missile and getting the muto's attention. Assuming it does have pistol shrimp like abilities it'll shoot a ball of electricity at the soldier after several failed attempts to crush it. The electric attack will hit the missile blowing it up and killing the Muto(and whatever soldiers remain in a pyrrhic victory type scenario) and then...well...anyone else wanna take it from here?

Here is what Snowden said in our PM when I thought he had added the line in as a joke (He said that it could be for SK, so I assumed the part where it looks like Godzilla talks was added in as a "Take that" to the Kingdom").

Snowdenzilla wrote:I'm quite sure that line was meant to infer his character in the moment- his intention in snarling at the Muto, no so much a spoken line. Perhaps Mr. Callahan should have just written, "Godzilla snarls at the MUTO as if to say, "I did this to you".
Afterall, spoken lines are designated in a screenplay by a character's name being centered and the line being written below. "I Did This To You" is part of the action description.
I assume it's much like when Godzilla gives that grimace at Baragon in GMK before kicking the sh*t out of him. Same deal. He doesn't speak.

And another look at this part where I've bolded it of course he says "maybe" but I think it's very interesting, and would mean that this Godzilla is astoundingly ancient.

Snowdenzilla wrote:When I say "It's like GMK Godzilla grimacing at Baragon", I'm making an assumption there. I think it's a damn good assumption, but I don't know how the scene will actually play out. In short, I think the line was a descriptor meant to hammer home to the reader that this is a Godzilla with personality- he *hates* this thing that he's battling. Maybe because his mate was killed by them? Now THERE is some speculation!

Snowden said that the Muto's lay their Eggs in Godzilla, but apparently Godzilla still manages to beat them somehow, and he confirmed that he survives the movie, so I'm thinking that they might use the nuke to revive Godzilla or give him a power boost or something like that.

Maybe he overloads the Muto's with his power which is added to by the nukes disinagrating them.

This is from one page back

Welcome! I'm glad you're having fun with it like we are- the descriptions in the script absolutely match up with what we've heard. Eight "articulated" appendages, claws (capable of closing around Godzilla's neck) and a pointed face. The script also mentions bio luminescent underbellies and sensory organs. And yes- they succeed in laying eggs, but it may be a little more complicated than you'd guess

So do you mean just the ones in the ancient past succeeded? or that they lay the eggs, but don't actually get them into Godzilla? I remember you saying something about a Chrysalis so maybe they lay them in that and try to get it into him? just gotta say I had a good reason for misunderstanding you since I don't want you to get somebody to come, sit on my head, and fart in my face.

Im thinking that since the eggs can be incubated inside a nuclear reactor that eggs are laid, on the ICBM. Does this play out in a way to pave the way for a possible sequel?

Who said that?

The nuke in the trailer looks like it might be from the opening of the film- the footage has a vintage look to it.

I'm not denying that there are other nukes in this film.

I actually think that they are using the nukes to lure the MUTO's more than Godzilla as people speculated early on. It's realized the MUTO's are attracted to radioactivity (Godzilla) but can be lured by a nuke, perhaps the plan is to lure them to the nuke, and set it off with all 3 creatures as the target, Femuto using it as it's nesting area and Godzilla and Hokmuto fighting working their way to Femuto and the nuke.....BOOOM
You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!
