Okay.....so we've gotten new hints about possible secrets behind the MUTOS and the Moon, but what is this about the appearance of "maser" tanks in the movie? I really must have missed something earlier?

The new toy of the Winged Muto. I thought that was the first Muto (male) from Hawaii and he ends up getting wings.

The female Muto is giant and has yet to be seen...

Are these statements correct?

Well supposedly the 8 legged Muto is the female, the winged Muto is the male. Though it's possible now their the same creature. With the 8 legged Muto being the wingless version.

Just curious.. Did the King Ghidorah thing come from Snowden? Even though he should be banned, he has been pretty accurate about his information it seems.

Yes. It was something vague like legend of gold in the moon. Most ran with it and thought he was referring to Ghidorah.

There is another possibility: we know the MUTO's require radioactive materials with which to lay their eggs on, hence why they go after the missiles and Godzilla; well what about people? If they're irradiated, like at the Janjira incident, then they're just as likely a target for the MUTO's to harvest for their nests. Maybe that's the tragedy for Brody; not that his wife died from just radioactivity, but that she was essentially being used for food by the MUTO's as well.

The more I think about it, the more I actually quite like the idea of King Ghidorah being on the moon. Espeically if it's because of a Chinese moon mission to find and extract Helium-3 from its surface:





So you have a nice little bit of symmetry of Godzilla being woken on the earth by humans, and King Ghidorah being woken on the moon by humans. And all because of our reach for more powerful energy sources.

Rumor is that Homuto is the 8 legged muto and flying muto and Fem Muto is an entirely different one we haven't seen yet.

I was thinking about that too. Maybe there's only one muto in the movie instead of two; one who mutates into a final form. That would suck only because for so long we've been under the impression that there are multiple mutos.

Judging from the SXSW footage shown and the full trailer, along with the airport footage I saw at CC, the pieces are coming together.

The only thing really that has happened (maybe) is that the coloring has changed a bit on Hokmuto since the CC footage was shown OR the creature goes through several phases before reaching full development.

All I know is that it looked like it was going to be a melee scene.

I'm not sure where Snow's sources came from but now that he's gone I guess I should probably make it public that his IP address matched that of one of the posters from the thankfully defunct troll website some site, who crashed the MZ forums some time ago. Yes, some of his things have come true, but as they say in the Exorcist, evil mixes truths and falsehoods to confuse. Take everything with a grain of salt.
