Help cast Akira Takarada in Legendary film!

Eh, I can't hate on that. In efforts to remain diplomatic, I ended my rant of sorts on the group with the hopeful thought that maybe he'd have a bigger role in the sequel.

...it of course means that the self-entitled out there have not learnt the errs of their ways. :\ I hope it doesn't turn out to be another embarrassment.

Gareth Edwards will be taking Takarada with him to the Japanese premiere and will also be appearing with Takarada at the unveiling of the new Godzilla mural at Toho Studios.

Apparently, Takarada said Edwards wrote him a three page apology letter when his scene was cut from the film.

It really seems these two have become pals over the last year or so. I think I'd honestly be surprised if Takarada didn't make it into the sequel.

I think I can wait till 2018 for Edwards to come back for the sequel.. The man is awesome. At least the scene will be on the BD. Something to look forward to I guess. Hopefully Edwards can get Takarada into another scene in the sequel.

Nope. Hardly any deleted scenes at all. They want you to buy the DVD again in a year or so.
