Well I've seen people complaining that the Snickers commercial "Undermines the dark and serious tone of the movie" I don't know what they expect from a candy bar commercial though.

I just did a YouTube check. The GODZILLA trailer on the official page has over 17 million views and 85 thousand likes in just over a week.
In contrast, the "enemies unite" and "rise of electro" trailers for ASM2 each have just over 3 million views and 11-17 thousand likes, the former being out for over a month now.
Captain America's 2nd official trailer has 15 million views and 45 thousand likes over the span of one month.
...And the trailer for X-MEN: DOFP has over 25 million views and 104 thousand likes, but that's over a span of four months.

Fans of the Japanese original should get a kick out of this. The audio from the latest trailer for Gareth Edwards' Godzilla reboot has been added to footage of the 1954 kaiju classic. Revisit the king of the monsters back when he was a guy in a rubber suit after the jump.

Finally saw the Snickers commercial on tv. To be fair most of what I watch on TV is sports (I catch a ton of shows online instead of live), but it was nice to see the commercial airing during a game.
