Every time we get this euphoria that we have been blessed with in the Godzilla universe, be it the Millenium, Legendary, Shin or Anime, a bit of me is bummed that Aaron is not here to enjoy it with all of us.

The interviews and some other material I've read talk about 3 separate actors mo-capping the heads of Ghidorah. Interesting conccept, as long as they don't make it comical. I keep seeing this image in my mind... only with big golden wings.

At G-Fest we got a special video message from Ghidorah's right head. It's kinda surreal. He says he'll be at the con next year

It's a bit mind boggling to think of Aaron and all the other Godzilla fans before him, some of whom are no longer with us, and couple that with the fact that the prospect of an American Godzilla movie had been dangled like a carrot on a stick since Miner's attempt in 1983 but only now are we getting what everyone's always really wanted from the deal: an enormous Hollywood film featuring the Toho pantheon beyond just Godzilla.

I am glad that they didn't go for a real pteranodon look. My biggest fear was that they would try duplicate that version from 1993, which was the closest thing to matching these pterosaurs. Heck, even Ray Harryhausen didn't go all realism with his flying reptiles, as he utilized bat wings!

Curious when this trailer will make is big screen debut. I don't anticipate it immediately. For sure, we will see a lot of it, come fall and winter when "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" and "Aquaman", WB's two biggest releases, are playing.

Dougherty said they made sure to design the kaiju starting from the silhouettes so it kinda makes sense that it would retain some man-in-suit sort of proportions a little bit.

A cool reaction I've seen is that people who aren't even familiar with these movies are very excited about Mothra. It's like people just find the idea appealing!

Hell, maybe she could headline her own MonsterVerse movie?
