I see literally no other way to interpret what you're saying. Also, I just so happened to have been glancing over this thread when you initially posted, and that was not the initial image you used. You changed it by the time I was getting ready to post a reply.
Let's leave it at that.

This is all getting gray-area at best. I’ll be forever amazed that a group as likely to have been picked on and excluded from things during their childhoods as Godzilla fans can be so exclusatory and close-minded as this fandom OFTEN is...but victims of abuse are the most likely to become abusive so I guess the cycle just repeats.
*moderator hat on* watch yourselves though. Things are getting right up to the line. *moderator hat off*

Yeah, this thread is getting reeeeaaaal uncomfortable. The show looks fine though. Actually, I really enjoyed that second trailer, especially the very Moebius-esque environments. I've no attachment to anything He-Man but I'd say even if I did, I'm kind of super over criticizing new iterations of franchises making changes to what was previously established. Variety is good and the version you previously enjoyed still exists. You know, except for the theatrical cuts of Star Wars, obviously.

As simple as it should be, if the story is good, I'll watch it, if not, I wont watch it.

The He-Man movie may have been originally slated for December, but they're still in rather early stages of pre-production right now. In fact, there was a news item that some new writers have been brought in for the script. Anyway, I imagine as long as there's movement on developing He-Man into a film that those characters will be off limits for She-Ra. That's not too dissimilar from the various superhero cartoons in the 90s and 2000's that had to hold off on using certain villains and other characters because they were going to be used in either other shows or in development movies (like how James Cameron's unmade Spider-Man movie apparently was going to use Sandman and Electro, thus precluding them from inclusion in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, at least for a while).

Neither was there a James Cameron Spider-Man movie. Just the act of it being in development tied up certain characters.

I recently watched through season 1 of this, and thought it was decent.
To be fair, I never really watched the original cartoon (I did see bits of it).

So I watched "season 2" as well.
Just like Voltron they are doing "half seasons".
Also I think they are trying a bit too hard on the inclusiveness factor.
