Grown men aren't the target market for She-ra, my 6 year old daughter is. It's painful how few genre shows cater to young girls, and when one does show up I can't let her google it because entitled grown ass men make pornographic fan art of it.

I welcome it even if the art style isn't my cup of tea. She-ra finding the sword and uncovering the evilness is a much more rounded character approach than He-man walking through dimensions and doing all her character development for her.

Just like how Hal Jordan wasn't content with waiting for Abin Sur to come to earth and die, so he killed him in advance and took his ring, or Billy Batson forcibly took the power of Shazam form the old wizard, yes, that's way better character development  .
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

You're treading dangerous ground referring to someone's personal appearance there. All I know is any remark to someone's personal appearance, positively, or negatively will most likely get people in trouble. So let's just say they look exactly however it is they want to be viewed that wont make anyone feel one way or the other.

I'm just saying...Sure 2002 MotU was written by adult men for a more mature audience. I thought it was the greatest rendition ever of that particular story. It WAS for me. Kids hated it, whatever, it failed. However-Who is this show being written by, and who is it for? I know it's not for me, and that's fine. It's not for a lot of people, it is ok for some... however not, I think intended, for 6 year old girls though either...

I see literally no other way to interpret what you're saying. Also, I just so happened to have been glancing over this thread when you initially posted, and that was not the initial image you used. You changed it by the time I was getting ready to post a reply.

Let's leave it at that.

This is all getting gray-area at best. I’ll be forever amazed that a group as likely to have been picked on and excluded from things during their childhoods as Godzilla fans can be so exclusatory and close-minded as this fandom OFTEN is...but victims of abuse are the most likely to become abusive so I guess the cycle just repeats.

*moderator hat on* watch yourselves though. Things are getting right up to the line. *moderator hat off*

Yeah, this thread is getting reeeeaaaal uncomfortable. The show looks fine though. Actually, I really enjoyed that second trailer, especially the very Moebius-esque environments. I've no attachment to anything He-Man but I'd say even if I did, I'm kind of super over criticizing new iterations of franchises making changes to what was previously established. Variety is good and the version you previously enjoyed still exists. You know, except for the theatrical cuts of Star Wars, obviously.

As simple as it should be, if the story is good, I'll watch it, if not, I wont watch it.
