Is it just me, or did everyone seem really out of character in that trailer? It was like all the edges of their personalities had been sanded down.

Okay, I don't want to be negative - but didn't they make a big hubbub about this female focused cartoon to inspire young girls and then the end result is something that's obviously so very cheap? Not that they can really be faulted when the last two movies had female protagonists, but still, this looks a bit like the successor to the Ewoks and Droids cartoons from the '80s.

If they wanted to do SW animated, they should have just done the whole thing. These short form series really don't offer anything of interest. I've seen a couple unofficiall animated SW that look so much better.

I enjoyed these. The Han and Chewie one was funny. If these weren't official they would have spread across the net like that Star Wars anime short did.
Also was that Rufio narrating?

My kids have seen SW, it's one of the most accessible film series available, in one form or another. If kids seek this out on their own, i guess that's one thing, but then the adults have to go through the trouble of explaining, when the kids see the actual film, that the *silly little animated clip* isn't the way it happened....

Luke Called him on his lie. Hopefully Han and Chewie would call out Leia also if she ever "told it" like that.

The vehement rage against these 60 second clips that 99% of the population will never see is kind of hysterical to me.
