Fans of my work will be surprised to know that *gasp!* i was Supervising Character Designer for this bad boy. It was challenging translating Ed McGuiness's drawing style to animation, but in the end i think it turned out solid. I'm interested to see what the fans of this popular graphic novel will think of this! here's the info!:

"Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, at least according to Harry Knowles and Aint It Cool News. AICN has a logo AND a plot description posted that sees President Lex Luthor using the approach of an incoming Kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman and declare a $1 billion bounty on the heads of Superman and Bataman. Loads of heroes, villains, and fighting ensue.

If that subtitle sounds familiar, it’s because it was the first arc of the actual Superman/Batman comic series. Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness’s tale resolved the long-standing “;President Luthorâ€

I'm very interested in seeing how the Captain Marvel & Hawkman vs. Superman & Batman fight gets translated.

I've read this book like 8 times. I LOVE the story and can't wait to see the movie version.

Meh, I want freaking Judas Contract already!!!

And out of all of the adaptations to do, WHY Public Enemies? It was dreadful. I would rather have Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, Identity Crisis, The Killing Joke, HUSH, The Long Halloween, Superman The Last Son of Apokolips, maybe one of the newer Legion of Super Heroes stories, or even that one where Ka El is found by the Waynes before having Bruce.

why not

why not do something fun and off the wall like "Crisis on Earth 1 and 2" the original team up with the JSA and JLA in Mike Sekowsky's art style? set it in 60s and have sounds and effects from it.

that would be even better than "The New Frontier"!

I have, and I did not care for it that much. I liked the Supergirl chapters better, but that is because it featured Darkseid. However, after that arc, the whole series has gone to the ****s. Not to mention they have screwed up Terry McGinnis by calling him Tim.

What a great idea! Those Multiple Earth crisis stories would make for some fun watching.

Oh yeah, there is another thing though, how about some other stories that do not have Batman, WW, or Superman in them? Like maybe a Justice Society one. Or how about one on the Fourth Worlds?

I meant I thought Megaloman specifically would really like it.

I can't believe you don't like the series though. The Kryptonite arc is THE kryptonite story,IMO at least.
Is Batman Beyond definately Terry McGuiness in comic books? I mean, aren't the animated shows their own seperate thing?

Which arc is that? I stopped reading after that horrible Enemies Among Us arc.

Oh, and yes, he was supposed to be called Terry, Loeb said that was a typo the writers did and DC was too lazy to fix it for the paperbacks.

I forget what the paperback is called, but it has "kryptonite" in the title.
Was "Enemies Among Us" the one with old time space enemies like the Caveman from Krypton and such, that all turn out to be
SPOILER: Martian Manhunter's old sidekick ?
I thought that one was pretty funny.

I did like it- the cartoon, I mean. though for the life of me I can't fathom this arbitrary 75 minute length.

nice to hear the voices I love so much. great to see the Composite Superman (sort of).

I have decided Superman and Captain Marvel should not exist in the same universe. Cap is too light and fun for the DCU in general, whimsical, I mean.

I found the JLU episode "The Clash" and most recently the Batman The Brave and the Bold -- "The Power of Shazam" to be all around better depictions of Captain Marvel that the one in Public Enemies.

The Public Enemies fight of Superman, Batman & Captain Marvel, Hawkmen was awkward in the comic and I had hoped that the DTV script would try to smooth it out with an extra couple of lines. I believe Hawkman & Cap were both in the JSA at the time you'd think they wouldn't be so easily hoodwinked.

I found the biggest detriment to Captain Marvel in the DTV movie was the voice work -- it just doesn't match the character. The voice work in B:TBatB is a pretty good match though.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies turned out to be an excellent addition to the Original Animated DC Universe franchise. While the comic its based on is so-so, the animation and story are for the most part quite riveting. And the voice acting is flawless. Kevin Conroy, Tim Daily, and and Clancy Brown all in one film? It's a dream come true.

I'm really hoping the sequel they're doing is based on the Supergirl one. That's one of my favorites. I wonder if they'd base their animation style on the late Michael Turner's art, which is fantastic. And if Darkseid returns, so must Michael Ironside.

From SHH:
Molly Quinn is Supergirl!
"I'm so excited to be a part of the DC family, not to mention helping Superman fight crime. Yes, I am a Supergirl!"

Actress Molly Quinn Reveals ‘Super’ Role In Upcoming DC Comics Premiere Movie Title
[quote="Jim Harvey"]Actress Molly Quinn, currently starring in the procedural television drama Castle, announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 that she will be voicing the character of Supergirl in an upcoming animated feature. The animated feature will be part of the ongoing DC Comics Premiere Movie line released through Warner Home Video. While the studio has yet to make any official announcement on the project, the actress revealed her role will be part of an animated feature adapting the recent Superman: Brainiac story-line published by DC Comics.

As described by DC Comics, Superman: Brainiac is a “hard-hitting story that revitalized one of Superman’s greatest foes – and brought the bottle city of Kandor to Earth.â€

I agree. There are so many great DC characters and storylines. Just focusing on Supes and the Bat are going to burn people out sooner or later. Superman vs The Elite was a great story, but give me The Judas Contract, anything based on Geoff Johns JSA stories, Birds of Prey, ect....

AND BRING BACK THE DC SHOWCASE BACKUP STORIES!!!!!!!! :x

Unfortunately with the GL movie last year. DC is gunshy of anythign not Batman or Superman (Or Justice League). If you look at the history of the DC Animated movies back to 2007, these are the ones that sell the best. The Wonder Woman and GL movies not so much. Its sad but true, btu after the next Batman installment, at least we get a Flash Movie in early 2013. 8-)

WHich is a shame since Green Lantern First Flight and Wonder Woman are the first and third best of the series (Batman Under the Red Hood is my second favorite).

I wish they would just do a god damned Flash standalone movie or a Justice Society one. Hell, just do another Showcase set of shorts, but instead of a Superman movie, just do 6-7 episodes with other characters.

Like have an All-Star Western short, Flash, The Question, Hawkman, maybe one with the Forever People and Jimmy Olsen, and Blue Beetle.
