He looks like he's been skinned.

I wonder if is this the look Godzilla will have since his first apereance, or that's how he will look in the future.

^Well, he certainly doesn't have a beard at this stage!

This figure is arriving a few months before the movie, so if there's some surprising element to Future-Zilla they might wanna hide it in the same way the earlier forms and breath attack of Shin Godzilla were hidden.

^ Anime Godzilla looks skinless judging by the toy image, like you can see all of his muscles. That Godzilla figure has scales. I think that's G'14.

I've seen a fair amount of images of Japanese kits that stylize the '14 design in that way. Pretty sure this is one of those.

I'm wondering if there will be multiple Godzillas. The blue, skinless one(s) may be derived from his cells, resembling his 20th Century appearance, and the original may have evolved into something else.

^ He's referring to the sinewy surface texture of the Godzilla figures we've seen so far.

Godzilla's head is looking pretty elongated and wolf-like to me.

I'm not really feeling the animation.

I'm starting to better appreciate the animation (though the human characters still look iffy). As long as the quality doesn't dive into Berserk 2016 territory, I can live with it. Godzilla's design still looks okay, but I hope they're not planning to use vintage roars throughout the entire trilogy. I'd like to hear some new(er) recordings. Overall, I expect the movie will be fine, but I'm not really hyped for it yet.

I'm not a fan of the spines and the awkwardness of the limbs, but otherwise it looks great. From the trailers, it looks like Godzilla changed after 2000 years? He looks different in the split second flashback sequence.

The animation is better looking than Blame but I would still prefer they blend hand drawn with CG for a better result. I'll never be on board for this style.

I was never hyped about this project because I don't really care what they do with Godzilla and friends in an animated movie. It's just fluff on top of our already gigantic Godzilla movie universe that has been created.

I'm thinking Godzilla just has lots of junk and parasites growing on him for the past however many years it has been and when they start blasting him he is going to look different.

I think to looks really cool! Godzilla looks like a juggernaut much like Shin. Poster is great:
