Normally I don't follow wikizilla, but it seems like we live in an opposite universe, where what's told in the novels, should BE the animated series, and whats in the animated movies, SHOULD be in a book.

I've heard some of the stuff that happens in the novels, and it's mind-boggling that Toho was like "Yeah. Okay...that all stays off the screen and instead let's have everyone have a 45-minute discussion about Godzilla's made-up biology that we end up changing the rules of later anyway."

What actually grabbed my attention was the Gundam x Godzilla collab, I'm sure it's going to be like the previous evangelion x Godzilla collab.
And now I think that the Gundam vs MechaGodzilla fight on Ready Player One was trying to tell us something.

I think I'm going to like this crossover even more than the Evangelion x Godzilla one, I would love to see a custom Zeon Red MechaGodzilla for Char to pilot.

Some kaiju vs. zaku (the best mobile suit, no contest) stuff would be choice.

I've seen each one once, which was MORE than enough. Won't even be watching them as I do an upcoming series re-watch to prepare for G:KotM.
The only fascinating thing about them is that anyone thought they were good enough to release into the world as they are.

Some more visuals of the film are available in Xai’s short video for “Live and Die” the theme for Planet Eater:
Shame this is my least favorite of their three themes for the trilogy. Though I tend to be harder on English songs, White Out and the Sky Falls sounded much cooler overall. This has one cool part and kind of drones on until that build up. The visuals themself are nice but

Any word on when/if we (USA) get a Blu-Ray/DVD release of all 3 movies?
I have seen some DVDs on Amazon, but pretty sure they are not legit.

Previous Polygon/Netflix projects have had physical releases. Apparently streaming and home video rights are split when it comes to Polygon?

I've watched my 98 cartoon discs a few times. Not my Hanna Barbera discs though.

I guess its only a couple days away before this little experiment is over.
In hindsight, I think an animation would have always been a hard sell for me in this franchise at this point in my life unless it had a mind blowing story or was stylistically engaging. Unfortunately the style of the animation holds it back even more for me. I honestly think I would like this more if it were live action with decent actors chewing the scenery.

A Godzilla Anime, one would think, would have been a slam dunk, if SSSS Gridman was any indication (though I would have dialed the goofiness from 11 down to maybe 4 or 5...) . But alas, it is what it is...I still think we are living in some sort of Bizarro world. What was in the "in-between" books should have been the anime series, and the anime we got, would have served much better as a book/addendum to the series.
I am fairly certain there will be a Blu Ray set in time.
