I mean MB's access to the military is cool, and would be cooler in someone else's hands....
That said, I don't want a "Military vs. Godzilla" storyline as the focus...they can be involved, but I don't give a monkey's ass what they plan or think outside of them having no real clue as to what to do.
Oh, and let's not have any wild ideas about using a handgun or rifle to shoot Goji in the pits...that was a HORRIBLE idea.
Basically, unless MG was a space creation, it would have to be a world co-op to create and as I stated before, could be cool if piloted as an avatar.
HEY, we could have a giant version of one of the Naavi (however it's spelled) and Godzilla could kick it's ass in 3-D...

i'd like to see some compelling human drama...
my two absolute favorite films in the Godzilla series (Gojira, and Mothra vs. Godzilla) have excellent, EXCELLENT human drama...
it's no coincidence that Gojira has easily the best human story in the entire series and is also universally acknowledged as an excellent film...

No, it's well, Godzilla is, was and always will be a problem for us, one we can't eliminate ourselves. His real purpose is to defend his turf only for self preservation, our being able to survive as a side effect to his natural instinct to fight off invaders IS the only benefit.
That said, a sleeping Godzilla is a better bet for humanity than no Godzilla at all.
Like the wrestling analogy, DTA, Don't trust anyone....DTG, don't trust Godzilla. Oh sure, he'll join you in a tag team match against a common foe, but after the match he'll give you a stunner to remind you that you aren't friends, buddies or pals.

Great, now that I know Godzilla is CGI, and we have already had dancing Godzilla, standing drop kick and back body drop(KKvG), as well as the tail slide drop kick, I want to see Godzilla give some monster a stunner....
